I'm considering going back to selling Avon.

I did it when I was pregnant with my oldest for a couple of months (he's now 22) and I did it again about 14 years ago for about a year.

I really liked it.

Anyone out there currently selling Avon? I know that there have been many changes. Any words of wisdom?

There are a lot of new product with Avon and some of their policies regarding moving up have changed. As long as you manage your money, you should do well. There are also classes you can take called Beauty of Knowledge courses. You can take them on-line, and they will keep you up-to date.

Hi Beck and thanks. I went there last night and signed up. I'm waiting for a phone call from the local area rep to show me how to get started again.

Your welcome. Once you get signed up, I would advise you to become an e-representative. They will help you to set up your own website that clients can shop from even if they don't live in the same town, and they will deliver the merchandise right to the customers door. You're welcome...it is awesome to see the new TV adv. campaign and magazine inserts each month.

The celebrity of endorsement right now is Reese Witherspoon...while she's on board for the Anti-Domestic Abuse campaign, her endorsement lends a hand to the products as well.

It is amazing all of the things that are coming out, and all of the celebrities that are involved with Avon! The contributions to breast cancer awareness are amazing!
As far as some customers being afraid of the internet, I do understand that. It might help to let them know that they can order from several differant brochures besides the one you have available. They can also save on shipping alot of times.
