quote:
ORIGINAL: stamper_ben Liz, it came from this comment of yours - We do our part to help the environment for their sons, daughters, nieces nephews. I find it highly offensive and derogatory that you'd think I don't give a hoot about future generations. But I think we've had this conversation before and I'm sure you didn't mean the above in a personal way. stamper_ben, My use of the word 'we' in the aforementioned - is to denote me, and others, that choose to do something about being a steward of the earth - you know, kind of like how we are told to in the Old Testament. And again, if people like you don't want to do anything about it - good for you. It just makes me want to do more. <****Edit: and please note my use of 'if' - meaning, I'm not saying that you do or do not want to do something - I am saying IF - please consider this if you answer****> I have never said that you don't care about future generations - ie, I did not say participating in pro-environmental activities is the only way to help future generations, now, did I? Maybe you pass on stories, buy bonds, give money. Where in my post did I say that helping the environment is the ONLY way to give to future generations. I find it highly offensive when people put words in my mouth that I did not say. Peace and God bless,
