Anthony Burger, Garry Dilliard, Tim Surrett, and Greg Fox made the best SG band ever.

When The Kingsmen had a full band, (in the Anthony Burger days), they used a banjo quite a bit in their live performances. I don't know how many projects they had it on, but Daniel has probably covered them. Also, Tim Lovelace used to play banjo with The Florida Boys.

Another song with banjo is "For All The Days That End In Why" by Poet Voices. I've always wondered WHAT IN THE WORLD WERE THEY THINKING?
No, I just don't understand why a banjo should be in a serious ballad. I heard another recent song on radio with a banjo, but can't think of the name right now.
By the way, if you want to hear something absolutley bizzare, imagine the Hinson's song "That I Could Still Go Free" with a banjo playing in the verses. I've heard it before, and let's say that it wasn't the best idea.
Another one is from Triumphant, something about a white flag.

That would be The Old White Flag-a very bluegrass song!

Wow, it's so cool to listen and pay attention on how much the banjo is used in SG! There's a lot of songs that I'd never realized before that have the banjo.

is a well used instrument that can carry rythm and take control equally

I know that the sound is bad quality but I have few banjo music files for Free download on my personal website. I've been learning the Banjo since Oct. 2006. These songs are in the public domain, and since I play them, I put no copyrights on them.

Click Here then Go to "Music", "Banjo".

Watch out!! My website is still under some construction. Some pages are not there yet!
