I travel rather heavily now, but that's because I can. I usually drive when I'm going somewhere. When I went to Arizona last year I took one large suitcase, my backpack (not too big) and my CPAP machine which has to come with me. But when dh and I went to Europe all we each had was a largish backpack. Ds1 wanted to see some of dh's slides from his trips to Italy and Greece so we had a bit of a slide show last night. I wish I looked like I did when I was 18.

Oh! Ds1 will come back with goodies for all of us. Dh has a friend in Switzerland and that will be ds1's last stop so he will ship some purchases there so he doesn't have to schlep them around for the whole two months.

Oh don't we all wish we looked like we did when we were younger!
I was'ent half bad looking then...now I got the gray hair (I dye it tho)
and the wrinkles that come with being 50 years old. LOL

There...just finished a cross marker for my moms grave. Just a temporary thin,g until my step-dad orders the headstone.
I just don't like unmarked graves [sm=shakinghead.gif]

Now I hear some little darling calling "grandma"
Nap-time must be over.......

Barb, I'm watching the news and see that a tornado flattened a town in Wisconsin last night. Was it anywhere near you?

No Maggie...it was south of me and Sharon. They had some damage but as far as I heard the town is alright. They think it might have been two twisters that touched down in the same area. We just had the warnings and alot of rain from the system. Hubby said about 2" of rain came down. And we also had high winds. Today we are expecting a dusting of snow.
