I hear that Myrtle Beach is nice, but I've never been but they do advertise the area a bit up here though. I have no AC at all, just a fan instead. I will be happy when this humdity breaks!

I will be happy when this humdity breaks! A friend of mine who used to be a contractor (now retired) told me that the newer energy efficient A/C window units are very cheap to run. You might want to consider it. I could not live without A/C.

Hi Brenda, now are these in the $100 range? I probably have about 500 SQ that I would need to Air condition.

I'm not really sure, but bet you could check out Sears website or one of those type places and see what they are there and then check around and compare via internet.
