Just spoke briefly with Armydude on the phone. He made it home from the funeral. He got a big surprise to tell you about when he gets back on the threads. He wanted me to tell y'all he will be out of pocket tonight and will try to log on again tomorrow. He also said to tell you he loves y'all and thanks for the prayers.

Yeah, same here, James.

And I've got a surprise too, make sure you go by the House to read about it!

James - So glad to hear you were able to go today. Of course, making us wait for this surprise is just wrong you know...

(can't wait to hear what it is!)

I'm here for a minute or so before class... My parents told me something would happen at the funeral, but wouldn't tell me anything else. I think they were trying to make sure I could get there, but I had already mentioned that it depended on my instructor. My instructor counted me present, took my homework, and after a few minutes of actual instruction let me leave without being counted absent. That was GOOD news to me. Well I took off and barely made it in time. I found out what was to happen. Tony Greene was at the funeral. He sang a song (and my poor little ole tired brain can't think of what it's called right now). It was a tremendous blessing, and a HUGE surprise. I gotta tell you, my respect for Tony Greene goes up every day. He is truly a gentleman in every sense of the word.

I may not be back online after school today (LOTS going on) so I hope y'all have a wonderful day today!

OK, I'm gonna show my naivete, but I don't know who that is. However, it sounds like it was a great honor for your Grandma and your family so I'm very happy for you!

Phosy Tony Green is a Southern Gospel artist. He sings/owns the Greens. He is one of the pros.

I didn't know either, Kristin. But this is pretty much the SG crowd, so I just assumed it was a Southern Gospel artist. I like the SG very much, but I'm not at all familiar with the artists.

He was kidding about that beforehand. He said he could always sing Jingle Bells if we liked. Mom said, "That's okay. She didn't like Jingle Bells too much."

It goes well. The enemy has been defeated on the cross, and I am proclaiming the victory!
