ORIGINAL: StephtheJCFREAK This happened in 1994, at Paramount's Carowinds. My dad and mom went to Christian music day I went to CMD at Carowinds that day! My wife (to be) and I were "counselors" - we were supposed to be available for any kids who wanted to talk about accepting Christ, rededicating their life, etc. I think the Newsboys were there that day, too (if they weren't, it was one of the few times they didn't play CMD), but I don't really remember who else played. That's the only time I've seen Petra - they just never played around Charlotte that much now that I think of it. Nice story. We adopted our daughter from Russia when she was 11 months old. I have several CDs of classical Russian music. When she was small - literally just walking, she would love to "dance" to those CDs with Russian music - especially the Sabre Dance. While she enjoyed most of the music we played around the house, she really would become a dancing machine when the Russian music was playing. Of course, at such a young age, she had no way of knowing what music came from where, but I feel pretty sure she had heard some of those Russian tunes while she was still in the orphanage, because she would light up like a Christmas tree whenever they came on. I think there definately is something that gets "to you" when you hear music at a very young age, or even before you're born.
