Oh my gosh he's beautiful Eliana!! Can I ask what ethnicity you and dad are? Hjalmar has a beautiful set of features, so smooth and NOT newborn baby looking, he's a little man's man!! And can I just say I ADORE baby hands and finger nails. So tiny and perfect. He's a keeper for sure!

What a cutie! Yeah, breastfeeding can be a struggle. Sounds like you're going to get through the hard part though.

Adorable truly adorable. Love the cheeks and jealous of all that hair! You did a wonderful job.

He is adorable Eliana! He looks like such a cute little man! I agree with Brandy, he doesn't have that newborn look! He is absolutely beautiful! I also love all the hair! I'm hoping for some hair on my babe, but neither I nor DH had much at all at birth. I'm still holding out some hope though! Congratulations on your precious little guy!

We've just come back home after a week-long stay in the hospital. Our son had a bacterial infection that needed to be treated intravenously. He was really brave through all the unpleasant things he had to go through -- having the IV inserted (four failed and two successful attempts) and blood tests every day. We thank God he's much better. He's got oral medicine now and we'll take him for a checkup next week. How soon can we expect him to have some kind of a routine? And should we wake him up to feed him or just wait until he wakes up on his own? I feel for you. My first child spent two two in the neo-natal intensive care unit for the first two weeks of his life, and I know how scary it is. When he was in hospital, did you stay there all the time? What happened regarding feeding while you were there? It can take a while to feel like you're in some kind of routine, but especially after a "hiccup" like that. It probably wasn't till my ds was at least 6 weeks old that he began to get into a bit of a routine. He was definitely in one by the time he was 3 months old though. How is your son doing now?
