I bet you will be spending more time in airports than in an airplane.
I traveled yesterday from 3 to 9:30 and just under half of that was actual flying.

I was given a big bag of cookies to take back with me. I had it in my carry-on. It went thru the xray with no problems. The only thing you can't bring in are drinks. You can buy them once you pass security, but you will pay a premium price.
I did have a sandwich and drink in Memphis. The cost was almost $9.00

3-1-1 for carry-ons = 3 ounce bottle or less (by volume) ; 1 quart-sized, clear, plastic, zip-top bag; 1 bag per passenger placed in screening bin. One-quart bag per person limits the total liquid volume each traveler can bring. 3 oz. container size is a security measure.
outside drinks would naturally fail...

Buying deodorant was no problem. I had to buy a special size toothpaste that was 3 oz. And I had a hard time to get a small container of shaving cream.
If you need anything else you will have to ship it.
