Has anyone used any of the sites like Triond, where you get paid for posting your writings?

Have you made any money?

I just signed up on Triond. I'm not looking for big bucks, but it would be cool if I pulled in $5 here and there.

REad all the small print. Make sure they don't keep the rights to your story. It would be a shame if they took your story and made money off of it. Be careful out there.

Well, I've made $0.02 so far. . .

Anyone else out there have any experience publishing online for cash?

I've been published in a few e-zines. I've made between $1-10 for each short story or poem that was in an e-zine. I haven't done one of the websites where you write articles, though. The e-zines, like regular magazines, have submission guidelines, you submit your works and they either accept or reject them.

In November I did a travel article for Helium Marketplace (Maui). Got paid $48. Not bad for a just a small amount of work.

I'm a newbie on Helium.com. I sold a car review and earned $44 and I have another article sold but not paid for yet. I agree that you need to read the terms and conditions. At Helium.com authors retain the copyright to their work. You can earn money in the marketplace where publishers are posting for specific articles. You can enter contests or just write to a topic. If you like to write, check it out...
