With a house full of company this week I haven't been out to find the new cd...anyone get it yet???

I heard there were a few manufacturing/distribution problems with the new CD. You'll be better off just waiting and getting it from them Saturday. I heard a few of the songs from the new album on the Morning Joy Ride on Tuesday morning and they were very good (of course!).

The Booth Brothers where on The Joyride (JoyFm) the other day and they where a hoot. I enjoyed the down home interview. It was great. It was to announce the new recording. Did anyone else hear them?

I like their schedule at Hoofers Saturday night. It shows them singing 1:15. They usually give the groups 30-45 minutes to sing. The Primitives have 45 minutes and the opening group 15 minutes. Of course the house band will be there early and start at 6:00 pm. Hoofers House Band is very good and play good sg music. Program will start with singing Amazing Grace at 6:45 followed by prayer. Hoofers is known for staying on time.

I met a couple of the midnight grannies at the concert the other night.
I got my hug from the supreme lurker on here...Michael!!!

I have seen the Booths several times this year and this was by far the best concert yet! Keep it up guys...they had the crowd on their feet most of the night. If not on our feet then they had us rolling in the floor in hysterics. By the way...Michael now has his presidential campaign t-shirts for sale. I of course bought one and had the candidate sign it for me!!!
Michael Booth for President in 2008!!!!

Tired but doing fine...Days Inn has a business area that you can use with computers so I had to post about the concert Saturday night...I'm making my way over to the geezer thread!!!
It took us almost 13 hours on the road to go from LaGrange to Hampton yesterday. That is with about 1.5 hours of stops along the way.

Oh...did eat at the Varsity in downtown Atlanta on the way over to LaGrange Saturday. Great slaw dogs!!

Still trying to locate their new cd...went by one Christian bookstore in Newport News tonight...they don't have it and their warehouse is out of it!!!! Called the Lifeway store in Newport News and they have it but the salesclerk couldn't find it so she is going to look some more and call me back tomorrow. So hopefully I will find a copy somewhere in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia...that is a large area to cover dontchknow!!!!

Ok...I've finally had a chance to listen to it a couple of times now and my verdict is it's definitely another winner! Like most folks I have favorites but have to say the whole cd is absolutely wonderful. 9 out of the 11 songs were co-written by Jim Brady. I knew he was a fantastic song writer but I think you will find that his talent really shines on this project.
Ok...my favorites are "Welcome to the Family" which is co-written by Jim with Barry Weeks, & Tony Wood and "Love and Grace" also co-written by Jim along with Rodney Griffin
So guys I give you

!!!

Also...if you haven't heard our favorite lurker's solo cd you definitely need to get it.
