Anybody know a good place near the DFW metro area to drive to see wildflowers this spring?

Get out of the metro area and out into the country.[;)]

If it was me who is way south of DFW (Houston), I head west out past Brenham.

Thanks, Ben. I actually had already figured out the "getting out of the metro area" part. [;)][:D][:D][:D]

I finally decided to go to the Bluebonnet Trails in Ennis. Thanks for the tip, though..[sm=icon_smile_idea.gif] I'll keep that in mind if I'm ever in the Houston area in the spring. [sm=flower.gif][sm=flower.gif][sm=flower.gif]

I like the fact that many US states each have a flower proclaimed to be its state emblem.

Here in Ontario, Canada, it's the Trillium which is the Provincial flower.
