I like Kutless, Chris Tomlin, Third Day, Demon Hunter, and Superchick.

Phil Keaggy, The 77's, Ashley Cleveland, Larry Norman, Russ Taff, The Choir, 2nd Chapter Of Acts, Rez Band, Steve Camp...still my favorites.

I'm an obviously an old timer!

I'm not really into the current CCM scene, the reason being that much of it seems geared musically to the younger generation (at least what I hear on K-Love and all that)...I don't doubt the sincerity of the artists, just don't get into it musically. I'm sure there's a lot of good music outside of the confines of "K-Love"...just haven't had the time to look for it!

I like individual songs by current artists, but never felt compelled enough to buy whole CD's of their work. One exception is Sara Groves....I think she's fantastic! I do own all of her CD's! I like my daughter's Jeremy Camp "Restored" CD....can't get into her Relient K stuff, it all sounds the same to me! (I guess I really am an old timer!)

You're the first person I've seen on this board who has mentioned MAE. The Everglow is one of my favorite cd's.

Old school: Andrae Crouch, The Clark Sisters, The Hawkins,Undercover, Steve Taylor, Leslie Phillips (pre-Turning), Margaret Becker, Altar Boys, Stryper, and Petra.

New school: Kirk Franklin, Da Truth, The Cross Movement, Kutless, Jeremy Camp, Chris Tomlin, and Tye Tribbett. Tonex used to be in that category. Love his music, but not his current lifestyle.
