Yup. Lol, although admittingly I do the same to her.. but usually it's only cause she wrote on my wall first, but then I end up being the only one who writes on her wall for a while. For some reason I don't like when my whole wall is taken up by one person, so I usually end up deleting some.

It's taking me forever to reply because my computer is being crazy.

I don't think I know anyone who DOESN'T text :) Even some nanna's in the church (so in their 70's and 80's text) LOL

LOL that is cool! My grandpa just bought my grandma a cell phone. She got mad at him for doing that. She keeps bringing it back to the store saying it isn't working. The last time the worker at the store just deleted her message inbox for her. I don't know why my grandpa bought her a phone. He knows she doesn't even know how to properly use a computer.

I will have to make sure to fill up your wall with comments now. I figured that was her. Facebook messes up a lot for me too.

Lol. My friend really doesn't even have to write on my wall. She writes the same exact thing on everyone else's walls. I could just read theirs. Plus it's just stuff like, 'I didn't feel like school today no reason I just didn't want to go.' Umm, okay? Lol.

Don't worry, Nicole. If you write all over my wall, I'll do it back.

I didn't like it at first. Not one little bitty bit. I tried it out for a day or 2 and then didn't sign back on for at least 6 months or more. Once I found some people and started playing around with it I started to like it. Now that I have the hang of it I think it is fun! You just have to get past the "this thing is annoying" stage and then you will like it.

I think I have enough internet addictions so I doubt I'll intentionally try to get past the 'this thing is annoying' stage

I'm miffed. I want to take biochemistry I at another place over the summer, and Samford JUST decided to change the whole chem. department. Now the prerequisite for biochemistry is chem 302 (which I'm auditing right now), but when I was first a student it was chem. 301. (I took and passed that class, but not 302 yet.)

So the semester I decide I want to take it, they up and turn everything crazy. The dept. has to approve it, or it's elective. I'd be okay with that, except that I need 40 upper-levels to graduate... which is ten 300/400 level classes. I've taken 5 already, planned on taking 3 in the summer, then the other 2 the last two semesters. But now the biochem. won't matter.

I wish I could just be held to what stuff was the semester I started.

PS I'm still gonna get you Nicole. Bwahahahahaaaaaaaaa!

Oh my...
I'm new here...and I don't know if I'm doing this correctly.
It would seem that a 20 year old college student would know how to navigate a forum. No such luck.

Anyway, I just came across this forum while searching for other random things and I'm about to get married and move to a new city so...I thought it would be nice to have some e-friends to talk to! Ive been lurking around here for a few days and everyone seems..lovely :)
Happy April friends.

Ok, as it is officially 12:01 am on the east coast, I am now doing something I always hoped I could do at least once, as I've seen this IS something members can do, and it doesn't have to be a moderator...I am starting April chat.

What was your weather like today? Ours was rainy and cloudy. April Fools! It was actually a bright sunny day here. (the last one is the closest I could come to a rain smiley).

I've actually been a member since around Nov. 2001 and still never managed to start a chat thread. I always wanted to, but someone always beats me to it.

We are overcast today which is not good for my depression, but hopefully it'll bring some rain- which is always needed.

Well, then, I think we should all agree to let you start May's chat, when the time comes!

I could just see everyone waiting for me to start a new thread and me forgetting. LOL!

RansomedHeart- you won't be able to download your own avatar until you reach 50 posts.

For some people that can take months, for people like me it can take only a few hours.

I just don't get why some people don't call. Instead they email or text. Lorne doesn't check his facebook everyday and finds it annoying that some people only get a hold of him that way. Like when we went out for dinner with his cousin and his cousin's girlfriend. They got a hold of him on facebook. After that Lorne doesn't check his facebook as often cuz he gets annoyed that so many people only find out stuff if they sign onto facebook. That annoys me too. I never know anything about my sister unless she posts something on facebook... or my mom tells me.

I thought the whole point of Facebook / Myspace was to stay caught up with people?

I don't call anyone unless I absoltely have to. I hate initiating a call, usually I don't like answering personal calls, and I keep getting told my voice sounds like a pixie so I don't want to bother people with my pixie voice.

I"m sad....as you know I had an ultrasound on my gallbladder on Tuesday. My parents knew I was having it done, but they have not even bothered to ask me how it went. True I don't have any definitive answers yet, but they haven't bothered to even ask! They called last night to ask hubby to stop and pick them something up, but no one bothers to ask if I have to have surgery or not. Its just sad to me that my parents could care less.

{{{{Erin}}}} How was your ultrasound????

Solo, I'm thinking about you as I watch Oprah and the pregnant "man." I know you like that sort of stuff. I really wanted to see just the interview for myself. It's quite sad how Satan worms his way into peoples lives.

Anyway, a friend invited me to join Facebook, I did and thought it was boring. I don't need to spend that much time on the computer and some of the things on her page disturbed me. She's a believer and I think struggling with life right now. We use to talk ever other week, but then she stopped calling and filling me in on what's going on her life. I've emailed her and asked her to fill me in, but she just sends me all the forwards that everyone gets. She was struggling with something awhile back and asked me for some help. I told her what I thought she should do and I think I may have upset her. We're both believers si I'm kind of confussed by her standoffish way. I was in no way judgemental, at least she never said I was and realy listended to her. Is it possible that she doing something she's not supose to and doesn't want to tell me?

I dont know anything definite, just that the u/s techs were talking about "sludge" and "small stones". I have a regular "baby" appt on Monday. It just would have been nice for my parents to care. They didnt even care when I showed them the u/s pics of the baby, I got a "yeah, so, I cant tell anything about it" "whats the big deal?"
