It definitely is a race Maggie. And just like a race you get tired and weary. Thanks for your reply. Well my pasta salad is done and in the frig. Pasta Salad 1 box of shell pasta 2 carrots shredded 1 stalk of celery minced 1/2 green pepper minced 2 tomatoes minced 1 small onion minced 1 small bunch of broccoli minced 1 envelope Italian dressing mix 1/3 cup red wine vinegar 1 cup olive oil the kind made specifically for salads 1/4 cup sugar 1 small can of diced black olives In a cruet jar add the red vinegar, the olive oil and the dressing mix. Add some basil, some Italian seasonings, dash of pepper, dash of salt, two galic cloves minced. Shake. In a medium size bowl. Add all the minced veggies then pour the salad dressing over the veggies. Add the sugar to taste. Mix. Boil the pasta al dente. Rinsed thoroughly and drain. Add to another larger bowl then add veggies and marinate mixture. Put in frig to marinate for 24 hours.
