I use ketchup on fries and hamburgers, and sometimes on scrambled eggs.

My wife (the oppressed one) brought home some of the strongest horseradish I've ever had the pleasure to try last weekend for the Passover dinner she made, and it was awfully good on the brats I grilled last night.

Hi Drifter, good to see you again.

Horseradish is good on sliced beef. Mustard if good on brats, hot dogs and ham.

Mustard and ketchup and good on hamburgers.

This could be just a ploy to make us believe she's happy and content under your domination.

Or

It could be gloating about your horseradish.

By the way, ketchup (OR catsup) is an abomination of the absolute worse kind.

It is not even allowed in my house; unless I'm having company and I think they may be so misguided as to want some. Then the ketchup (OR catsup) bottle promptly goes home with them when they leave my house.

Pass the mustard, please.

SOUNDS SOMETHING LIKE SWEET ICE TEA

And that is blasphemy of the worst kind! You heathern, you! How can anyone not like sweet ice tea?

I'm really gonna have to rethink my opinions on some of you folks around here with pigs feet, spam casserole and other dishes on the menu while good traditional stuff like sweet ice tea is not allowed.

I'm with ya on the pigs feet and spam casserole, but I'm definitely not understanding you at all with the sweet tea thing.

There's something so soothing and reassuring about sitting outside in the evenings, drinking sweet iced tea out of sweaty glasses while enjoying some friendly conversation with neighbors and friends. I'm really starting to wonder if the sweet iced tea isn't a southern thing, lol. At our family reunion, there's always two coolers full of tea - the unsweet tea doesn't disappear at near the rate the sweet tea does.

The first time I ever tasted sweet tea was in a Tennessee restaurant while on a business trip, 5 or 6 years ago. I sent it back because I thought their tea had gone bad. When the second glass was just as awful, she explained it was sweet tea, so I ordered a diet coke.

Sweet Ice Tea is a Southern Thing. You don't get it up north. I used to drink both tea and coffee sweet. Tried cutting back on sugar, cause I like ice cream and strawberry shortcake. Think pigs feet is also a Southern Thing. Remember growing up and killing hogs, we didn't let nothing but the squeel go to waste.

I like sweet iced tea, but I like plain black coffee, lol. Hubby drowns his sugar with coffee. I was really starting to think it must be a southern thing - thanks for affirming that.

Kerr is going to need a new name before long so he might like your idea. We seem to always get around to talking about food most of the time anyway.

Excuse me! I must stop this thread! I am in pure shock that you all talked and talked about peanut butter - discussing Jiff and Peter Pan and other abominations and I didn't see anyone discuss the only real peanut butter out there:

Adams Crunchy. Hello people? Adams! Wake up! Sheesh! I'm glad I was able to rescue this thread from peanut butter pergatory....

And an Adam's crunchy peanut butter and honey sandwich is divine. I've also been known to eat spoonfuls of PB all by itself. God bless the inventor of Adams PB!

By the way, here is one yankee who can't stand unsweetened tea. I used to think when people had that it was a mistake. They had forgotten to add the sugar...

Some of us are just naturally so sweet, we don't need to ingest sugary liquids.

However, if I ate peanut butter, I would certainly agree with you about Adams.
