I probably didn't word it right either, I'm kind of hungry and am feeling kind of lightheaded.

Well, if I don't get any satisfaction, I'll let HQ know about it. (Doesn't that sound impressive? ) But they probably won't give a hoot either. After that, I'll go to subversion and order bottled drinks from my food distributor and fill my Coke cooler with them. The fountain drink machine may even be out of order more often than not.

Larry got free sneak peek tickets to the new Indiana Jones movie and free pop and popcorn on Tuesday, 2 days before it comes out. I am so excited.

I bet! I've got to get these 2 Yahoos up to Indiana Jones speed so that they're prepared to see the new movie.

Oh! The new Narnia comes out today, doesn't it? I want to see it but we don't have a theater here and I can't afford the gas to drive to the nearest one AND pay to get into the movie.

And I just got back from seeing it....

Aaaannnnnd? How was it?

WELL WORTH THE WAIT.

It was AMAZING.

You'll love it...unless you are a purist. They did change a few things, but as I hadn't read the book in awhile, it didn't bother me at all.

The CGI is better than before, for one thing.

You're gonna love Reepicheep.

Um, well, no, I do not like Star Wars. I used to when they first came out in 1978 and it was the latest and greatest, but the story line got really boring after the first one, well I guess that would really be story 4. I tried to like it, I really did, but that Story 1 with that Jar Jar Binks about put me over the edge.

CGI=Computer Generated Imaging. Or, perhaps more accurately CGA=Computer Generated Animation.

What they do to make the animals look real and talk. Also how they add lots of people to a scene like a fight scene when they don't want to hire that many or want people to get hurt.

Good evening, Den!

I haven't been online today, and I only have a few minutes now (will be back online later tonight), so I didn't get to catch up reading the whole thread. BUT, I gotta know...how are you liking the short hair, Lioness???

I'm getting mine cut tomorrow and I'm a bit excited and a bit nervous.

I am LOVIN' it! Got tons of compliments, even from the kids.

It still feels a little weird. Not used to having the back of my neck exposed...

Since we don't know what it means, I think you should take it as a compliment.

Yay! Glad to hear it!

I wore my hair very short for a few years and loved it. Grew it back out again in 2002 and it's been the same as this avatar since.

Tomorrow I'm getting my hair cut by this girl that cut it when it was short. She opened her own shop years ago and it was too far away for me to travel, but she's moved her shop closer now and I'm gonna give her another try.

Us girls and our hair...

Hey, that could be snarky with a tweak or two.

Like:

Okay, not so snarky. It's not my forte.

How about.....I'm sure that if you had a better mastery of communication that would have sounded more like the compliment you meant it to be.

Okay, no. I'm too tired to make it work either.

well, I have learned on my first serious venture into current events....to stay out!

I am not one to mince words when it comes to ignoring reality.

However, being the nasty pearl grabber that I am, I find that thread intoxicating. In the poison and die sense of the word.

I was reading that thread (and agreeing with you) but I just didn't feel up to weighing in today. I was disappointed in the posts of a couple of people whom I really like, admire, and respect.
