What a nice variety of healthy eating and excercise plans represented here already! WOO HOOO! I have some good friends on South Beach Maintenance ... healthy fats/good carbs, and they seem to be very happy with it. I just looked at a calendar and realized that 9 weeks from Saturday we embark on our 7-day cruise to Alaska (inside passage), and I'd really like to lose 10 or so pounds between now and then, if at all possible. Sometimes my body cooperates with these sorts of goals, and sometimes it doesn't! hee hee hee. If I can just lose a pound a week, though ... that would be fine. By the way, I have USWIDS (unoffocial sneaky weigh-in days) as well as my once-a-week OWID (official weigh-in day), so will probably report positive events. For some reason, I'm not so keen on posting less-than-positive scale-related events! Posting your weigh-ins, official or otherwise, is entirely optional .... so feel free to share your news, if you want. And for those of you watching inches, sizes, or some other thing, feel free to share -- or not share, as you desire. And, hey, if you find something really tasty, healthy-eating/diet-friendly, feel free to share. Tonight my dinner includes an organic ear of yellow corn -- just 77 calories for a medium ear ... and it is sooooo wonderful! I also am having cucumber, broccoli, carrots, and lean organic grilled beef. (I limit my beef intake to about 5-6 dinners per month, so this is one of my beef nights!) What are you all eating these days?
