Biblefreak... I didn't say America wouldn't feel wrath against sin. What I said is that America is not found as a principal player in the End-Times scenario. Not only are we not found in the end times scenario, we don't WANT to be found there. The countries that are named are either completely decimated by judgement, completely taken over by the antichrist, or its Israel. There are no other options. If we are just part of that general "whole world" group, then we will be much more likely to not be completely wiped out.

Well this was the problem for me. I didn't like thinking that MY country, which I had served in the military, would be an agent for evil.

However, I had to ask where I was putting MY trust.

Now as the premier country in the world, the only remaining superpower - if you think America isn't going to be a player in the end times, I'd have to ask what kind of rope you are smoking! [:D]

America is very much Roman. I expect her to be part and parcel with the fourth terrible beast.

Hey All & Hi,,


I must admit,, like Sinner Saint i also struggled with the idea that America could play a role in the end time prophecies before Jesus is seen in the clouds. However i am not from there and do see your countries actions not as a citizen,, but as an observer.

I see a nation that stood up in the last century and became tha nation that led the western world through its Culture, Politics, Wars, Wealth,Science and Media. The United States has achieved some amazing things throughout her history and much of it you should be proud about. Like Liberty holding her torch high, America also has been like a beacon of light to show how a nation can be free and democratic and achieve great things.

So for an idea that America could be anything other than this beacon spreading Liberty throughout the world is hard to digest,, even harder no doubt being a citizen.

So ask yourself these few questions?

Is America still a beacon of sorts for other nations? & do other nations see America as such?

If America has been top gun since WWII in military might and power which it prides itself on, why would it suddenly not be in the picture during the end times?

What makes America immune from being one of the 10 horns of the beast out of the sea in Revelation 13?

Bingo!! Thats exactly it,, who are you puting your trust in more, your Country/Government/President or Jesus the Christ. If your government does one thing and a teaching from Jesus tells us another,, which do you follow and place your trust in. Where does the line between patriot stop and being a brother and sister in Christ begin.

On a seprate note of sorts. I saw a great news story that said with the U.S. is a state of flux (to say the least!) that China & Russia are now HUGE threats to the U.S. If they were to join togather with a fully armed Iran there wouldn't be much left of this country. The fact that all 3 countires are talking (Iran, Russia, & China) makes the hair on the back of my neck stand at attention.

Yes it kind a gets to me when we have people who will say that the founding fathers of USA where Christians. When 99% of then were free mason. That's got a lot of pagan type thoughts in it. Makes me wonder what side of the fence will the leaders of America be in the last day when in Zechariah it talks about all the nation coming against the Lord.

But in all fairness Greco-Roman architecture is the standard for government buildings in the western world. But I could see a future in which the US becomes a part of a larger government. Say a North American Union and then joining that with the EU. Especially if a large disaster would happen that would destabilize governments around the world.

The ten toes of Daniel 2 or the ten horns of the beast of Revelation. The future New World Order taking on the future Muslim Caliphate in the war that leads to Armageddon. I could see that in Daniel 11.

What did they call that nation in 1984? Ah yes. Oceania.

Oh, here is a crazy thought. If the calender is 28 years fast like I think it is then the year 2012 would actually be 1984.

I wouldn't call it a standard Ntech, thats rather a blanket statement. The truth is,, The Greek Revival in architecture that took place in the late 18th, early 19th centutries. The nations that were influenced by this style where mainly in Northern Europe and the USA, or just the countries in the North.

I am pretty much blue and true to USA. Yet we have done some great sins in the past. We have had people who the majority of them that didn't want in power and they were just as cruel as Hitler could have been. And I'm talking about recent history.
We allow the Taliban in power in Afghanistan during the eighties to stop from Soviet Union from sending their oil to warm port for delivery. Now, they the Taliban were are no picnic for people of Afganistan and we are in a war to stop the Taliban. This so called weapons of mass destruction allowed us to invaded a land which the dictator was an idiot. But we have not been peaches and cream either to them.

Personally i don't think that America is the second beast of Rev 13,, but rather part of the first beast.

The first beast is described to us as being part Lion, Bear & Leopard which we can also see in Daniel 7.

Likewise the two horns of the like a lamb can be referenced to Daniel as well, the two horns of the Ram in Daniel 8. The Medes & Persians

So the second beast is more likely Islam and not America, the false spirit that denies that Jesus is the Son of God, and therefore antichrist.

Well I'm sorry I was trying to be clever[8|] or funny[:D] and did not read the passage.
A Mr. Ray Vanderlaan (person who has been on Dobson's radio show) who has done I suppose great study in this. Says that during the time that John wrote this. That Emperor of Rome who's name I don't have at the top of my head. Fit this number to a tee. That the people at that time were required to have their body stamp. Showing that they were followers of Caesar.

Agree. US is already at its end times just a matter of when not if. We don't need any help we are doing it to oursleves. End Time events that play out will occur in the Middle East first.

I don't mean to be flip Two but my point is, unless we can prove something with scripture why should we guess? The point of this thread was, is the fate of America stated in prophecy and so far all we have are guesses.

I refuse to guess just because I have an agenda.

All the names that are mentioned above are people who have placed some scripture on the table either for or against America being in prophecy in this thread alone.

So i do question why you would say one thinig while the proof
suggests that your above comment is in fact wrong and misleading.

A guess can go either way not just for America being in prophecy but also that it isn't. Yet most here have made comments that America isn't in or part of endtime prophecy without any scripture at all.

So i gotta ask who is guessing?

My Lord another smarty pants. There is not prophet on earth now worthy to be called such....and I certainly am not one. America is creating her own doom G-d does not have to help with that. My point being that the Middle East will incur the brunt of the End Time.
