From Obama and the end times.
America is THE lone superpower. We have 800 military bases in most of the countries. I've been trying to find out where we don't have them.
Do most people realize that Gitmo is in Cuba, a supposedly enemy of ours.
Imagine what is happening with our "friends/allies.
I think part of the key is in the Chaldeans, or people from Chaldees.
These people mix with Babylon.
Job 1:17 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The Chaldeans made out three bands, and fell upon the camels, and have carried them away, yea, and slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.
The first mention of Chaldeans is in Job. They came and stole his kids.
Europeans stealing Africans? Sound familiar?
Isa 23:13 Behold the land of the Chaldeans; this people was not, till the Assyrian founded it for them that dwell in the wilderness: they set up the towers thereof, they raised up the palaces thereof; and he brought it to ruin.
Europeans were not. Or what used to be called Gauls, barbarians, pagans, etc. Till they were found, and Rome built towers, gave them Roman roads, etc. Rome was head of Europe for 400 years. Then Rome was gone.
Isa 48:20 Go ye forth of Babylon, flee ye from the Chaldeans, with a voice of singing declare ye, tell this, utter it even to the end of the earth; say ye, The LORD hath redeemed his servant Jacob.
Hab 1:6 For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwellingplaces that are not theirs.
Last mention of Chaldeans. He tells Habbukkukk why He did it.
Chaldees
We know tha Abraham was from Ur of Chaldees
but if you continue reading it says this as the last verse of Chaldees, mixed with Baylon.
Isa 13:19 And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.
14 verses mention Chaldees, 66 mention Chaldeans.
There's a mix there like Daniel says, the Bible mentions it
2Ki 25:24 And Gedaliah sware to them, and to their men, and said unto them, Fear not to be the servants of the Chaldees: dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon; and it shall be well with you.
Just too many similarites to Babylon.
ALL kingdoms come down.
America is the last mixed Kingdom.

Wrong. China is THE worlds "Super power" They control all most all trade. Inluding the steel we get which by the way has gone through the roof.
I think all these ememies are working togather to drain the U.S. The War has drained the economy, The oil has gone through the roof as we near war or at least an attack on Iran not to mention we're Chavez and how he contols Oil with all his buddies. Steel as I mentioned is made and sent from China and it is the highest I've ever seen it and is slated to go up again by Sep./Oct. I would not be surprised to see or find out our ememies all ganged up to drain the U.S. which would be a brilliant stratagy.

WesP: The thing that is going on is that with a change of personality, and President George W. Bush has been leading so far and American policy reflects his person, the direction the country can take will change with that change of leadership.
Look at the news in Russia. With a slight change in leadership there, Russia and the EU have formed a pact.

Barriers to unthinkable possibilities today will fall instantly when you get someone who intellectually hates their country as much as Barack Hussein Obama does.
I am still looking for a three-way unification of America, Russia, and the EU as prophesized by the contemporary end-time nations of Daniel 7 coming together to form the fourth beast as is shown in Rev 13:2.
The anti-Christ must have a platform to stand upon and rule from in order to have authority for 42 months.
The timing of this federation with the coveted Middle East Peace Treaty will be very close. However, I expect that the fourth nation with its ten-minister ruling council (NOT ten nations) will form first, so the anti-Christ can rise up from within it, hamstring three of the ministers (who are actually allied with him in spirit) and take over.
In fact, brokering the Peace Treaty may be part and parcel with the anti-Christ's rise to power. Having them happen simultaneously would fulfill prophecy...
Speaking of prophecy, the false prophet will make fire rain down from heaven ~
Israel is about to attack Iran.
According to John Bolton, who is in the know about such things, this would happen sooner if the socialist, pro-partial-birth-abortionist Barack Hussein Obama is elected!

Remember, God is in control and HE is the one who puts Kings in their place. With the change of personalities in the White House come January '09, expect a change in direction based on their leadership.

China does not have 800 military bases liike America does., If you read about Babylon,. it says nations will be arrayed aganist her.
And of course it doent help Babylon that so many HATE here from within.,.

Tracy knows that we need quality leadership; as do many.
All nations have drunk in the maddening wine of her adulteries. The kings of the earth have committed fornication with her. They call it worldwide commerce on the 'high' seas.
Israel is considered a Sovereign State and Country, just like all of the others, yet there are certain unities of common interest that we can share in the CommonWealth of Nations that which we have pledged or allied ourselves concerning.

I do believe America is written of in the Bible, but she is kept well hidden. Because it is as many say, America is truly blessed. I see good things happening in America, and in then in world. But then I have always been an optimistic. It is also hard to see negatively, while keeping your eyes on Him.

Who could not notice that the language derivative that we speak in is called English; though.
I notice that there was an open alliance declared with Britain concerning the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. British Petroleum has gained financial ground into the billions of dollars since.

So to look at prophetic scripture with us not being there would seem to indicate that we are marginal at best in the overall scheme of things.

I find the attitude that America is not in the Bible because we are not named in a way that suits us to be totally dismissive of the power of prophecy and God's ability to know what is going on in the world.
America is one of the major players on the world stage. In many ways, you could say America is the premier power as in (almost-sole) superpower. We are a player in the Roadmap and we are and will be part of the "North."

Right now, yes. But power comes and power goes. Empires rise and fall. It has happened before, and it may happen again. As I've said, not very long ago, England was arguably the super power. The sun never set on the British Empire, as the saying went. And now? Obviously England isn't a little do-nothing country, far from it, but it is also not the power-player in world events that it once was.
In the same way, since we have no idea when Christ will return, America may not be the major player that it is right now. Indeed, America may be a shattered nation that is referenced in history books when those heavenly trumpets sound.
On the same notion, obviously it could play a major role in end-times prophecy. If Christ returns before America loses her seat at the top of the ladder, then one would assume that it would. My point (and the point of a few others on here) is that, He may wait to return until after America falls.
