I used to always do the fireworks at Tampa Stadium with the Rowdies - 50K+ inside with another 100K outside the stadium. It was amazing!!!!!! We were considered to have the best show in the SE. Well, fast forward to 2001, and we did the same thing with the Mutiny. This time it was at Raymond James Stadium (home of the Buccaneers). Anyway, we had a 90 minute lightning delay with a torrential storm in the area. The lightning was SO intense that when it hit the stadium one time, it set off several rows of the inside fireworks. They were going off in the torrential rain! I was above them (in the press box), so looking down on this is something that I will NEVER forget! It was AWESOME!!!! In fact, that alone was almost better than the show we got after the game when it finally cleared up.

Fireworks don't get better than Disney. This past NYE I spent 14 hours doing crowd control...the hardest work I've ever done in my life....and all the frustration was worth it because I had prime viewing for the show....right in front of the castle, but standing on a box like thing 1 ft away from the masses (I was in the grassy area where guests couldn't stand). It was amazing. Fireworks lasted in full force for about 30 minutes, surrounding the entire park. Anywhere you looked there were fireworks.

i was in nyc 7/4/02 (easy for me to remember as it was big holiday after 9/11 and security concerns) ... but i don't remember the fireworks ... must have seen them but don't recall viewing them in a crowded area!

ORIGINAL: utilityfielder Then the grand finale is the 1812 Overture. They bring in about 8 army cannon and use all the downtown church bells. It is very stirring. . . . . ........ this sounds sooo cool!

Yep, Disney has a fireworks show every night. Honestly, I've always been disappointed from going to non Disney fireworks displays. It's seems I got spoiled.... And I've heard the 1812 overture with cannons and a carillion (bell) tower before. It was sooo cool!

You know, truth be told, I like Key Lime Pie much better than cheesecake, but if there isn't any KLP, then I will have cheesecake. For the longest time I didn't think I liked cheesecake, but then someone got me to try some, and I found out that I loved it! But, KLP is better.

My frustrations at work continue. Please be praying for the job situation. I'm now beginning to question if God wants me to stay with the college.
