I usually listen to a CD or if I can get the nearest Christian radio station in, I'll listen to that and sometimes that has preaching on it.
Right now Bryan Duncan is in the CD player.

YAY for transportation!!! Luckily we all have the wonderful two feet God provided for us to use huh!!!! I will never take that for granted (esp after getting to meet wonderful people on here like Debbie Lynn who can't walk!!). The first year we were in Germany we didn't have a vehicle (proved to be a challenge when the baby was born at the closest American hospital and it was about an hours drive away!!! But God worked it all out). We walked a lot...took the bus...taxi's when necessary (coming home from the store, etc). Mostly walked though...lots of good exercise!!! I learned that in Germany the hills are deceiving...it CAN be uphill both coming and going from a place!!!! LOL

I voted radio, cd/tape, nothing, and whoever else is in the car. I drive at least 2 hours/day for work, often more than that, so I have lots of car time. Can I also request an option for books on tape/cd? I use them a lot since I drive so much.

I forgot to add that if I have others in the car with me, the stereo is often off as I'm in favor of good old-fashioned conversation, which is hard to have if the stereo is on. Although, sometimes we'll agree to listen to a certain CD and sing along together.

I put nothing, because I really believe in being an undistracted driver. No radio, no cell, no nothing. If I'm giving kids a ride, they have to either not talk at all or barely talk.

I do have an ipod and I need to buy something for my car so I can hook up my ipod but they all seem expensive and so I will wait for a really good deal

I am stubbornly avoiding the Ipods for now. My old truck has a cassette player in it. But usually I listen to the radio. We have good a.m. talkers, NPR and The Fish. There is a wealth of good radio (and bad) around Atlanta.
The motorcycle, on the other hand, has a multiple cd player. It is so funny when we pull up to a red light and the car next to us is booming (you know what I mean) so we crank Beethoven or something jazzy! Too cool. Our GPS can play mp3's but we haven't loaded any in.
We walk alot. When I walked by myself I usually had a cassette or the radio playing in my ear. Now I listen more to the birds or I have my phone in my ear, talking to m'love.

Up until about a year and a half ago, I was driving a car with a broken radio and a broken cassette player, so I didn't listen to anything. Now I have a car with a working radio and a CD player!!! I mostly just listen to the radio and even then, I'm rarely actually listening. Years of not having it makes it seem like "noise" now.
