I am thankful for God allowing me to wake up this morning, and for all his blessings. I am thankful for my family and our health that we have now. I am also thankful for each and every one of you. I know I don't get to post much but please know you are all in my prayers and thoughts.

I am thankful that my daughter did not have the flu, and is feeling much better now.
I am thankful that my son is doing well in his chemistry class at college and has found a study group that challenges him in his walk as well as in his academics.
I am thankful for the amazing youth leaders at our church, and for the incredible teens that God has sent into our lives.
I am thankful for these forums that offer such encouragement first thing in the morning and late into the night, as well as an opportunity to speak hope into the lives of others.
I am thankful for the huge house I live in and my car that runs and the comforts of a central unit... and for the border-line shame and intense heart-ache that I feel because of the hungry and the poor and the oppressed around the world.
I am thankful for the prayers of the saints, for the opportunity to agree with them in prayer, for the missionaries that go where I cannot, for the ministries at my new church that challenge me to get out in the streets of my city and live the Gospel out as Christ would have done.
I am thankful for my obstinate computer, that works, and that teaches me patience. haha

... somebody stop me, cuz I could definitely go on and on.
Is there anything in life that we cannot find some good thing that God has brought from it?
Beauty for ashes. That is the Christian life, every day ^_^

I am thankful today Lord for clean water available right at my fingertips to drink. Lord there are so many in this world who have no access to freely flowing clean water that is vital to physical life.

Lord, this is one of those wonderful days that I Praise You all day for confirmation that You are indeed giving me the Grace to be led and used by Holy Spirit.
Once again Lord, Abba, Almighty Father You send something so Powerful that I am not only Encouraged but I am so Strengthened to continue on down Your Pathway even as I stumble, fall and fail.
I am beyond words of Thankfulness and fall down before You in thanks and Praise, and Lord I know You are doing this for others.
Keep us bold and totally open to Your Guidance. Let us not back away and shy away when You lead us in directions that seem confusing. Let us never forget that You are indeed in Control and keep us cooperative and properly discerning.

I am thankful I got to visit MY house today, and see my 7 year old cat, whom I've left there, trying not to make his life miserable with too many moves....long story. But he is the light of my day. :)

I am also thankful God is pulling me through the rockiest time of my entire life right now, and starting to reveal to me reasons why things may be happening, and giving me peace, and patience. I am learning that all things He does are for the best. I am thankful for learning that as well. I am thankful for my parents, and for shelter over my head. I am thankful to have friends who care a lot about me right now. I am thankful for my husband caring about me, I'm thankful for being able to spend this time with my parents.

Thank You Lord that You are the worker of miracles and that You give us Your Grace to understand that Your miracles are not always big and bold or flashy revelations of Your Power.
Sometimes Your miracles show up in the smile of a child, the gentle touch of a hand, an unexpected phone call or visit from an old friend, a card in the mail that brightens someone's day, all those so-called little things that we tend to overlook as Your Works and Miracles.
