Thanks, Trish and Mike.

Things are good. I went up to see and help with some decorating of Danielle and Adam's new apartment yesterday. It's VERY nice. Unfortunately I wasn't able to see my grandkids. Sometimes I feel so "cut off" from them. Please pray that that changes. God knows the situation so I don't need to describe it here...just please pray that things improve so that I can see them more. I have only seen them 3-4 this year. And I know many of you pray for Logan...please continue to pray that he continues to advance in his learning and capabilities and for Angela and Jeremy to have the direction and ability to help him.

I am preparing for my dear friend, Sheila, to come for a visit from Arizona this week Tuesday - Sunday. I REALLY look forward to her visit.

THEN on next Sunday we have the "Memory Walk" in memory of little Aidan Lucas who stillborn last December 27th. After the walk we or they are going to plant a tree in memory of him as well. We will also be walking in memory of my niece, Jillian Marie, who was stillborn way back in 1978 or so. I think it's been wonderful that my sister is FINALLY feeling free to talk about it and mourn her loss.

Have a wonderful Sunday and week!

LOL, Trish!! We had a wonderful visit despite my knee deciding to "go out" (for lack of a better term) and me having to limp around. But "oh well"...like I said...we still had a wonderful time!!

The walk today was very nice as well. My sister and nephew came as well and I was very glad. I think it has opened the door to her finally talking about and letting herself feel the loss she endured many years ago when her 2nd daughter was stillborn. I was pretty young so I don't remember too many details, but I do know and always remembered her name was/is Jillian Marie.

Thanks for popping in Trish, Mike and "Sis".

Sheila, did you know that Aussie slang for for a woman is "sheila"? For example, "Look at that sheila over there".

Yes, actually I did hear that. I've had some elude that's not a necessarily complimentary TYPE of woman...but "whatever".

If my schedule permitted and my husband didn't have any objections. He would probably come with me.

Last week I was informed that I got "new responsibilities" added to my current position at work that I had applied for. I thought maybe it WOULD involve a promotion or a raise since it is A LOT more work...but was advised plainly that it was NOT and did NOT... but I took it anyway.
1. It's more time OFF the phones. 2. It's more experience and more connections to people in other parts of the company. The lady that does it now is submitting an outline of the job responsibilites and how they've increased since the position was first created and how it DOES deserve much more recognition AND PAY than what she got for it. I don't care about the recognition from my peers as much as I would LOVE a raise. Who wouldn't?

Well... you all have a great day, week, weeks...whenever it is I can pop in again. My schedule feels like I am on overdrive sometimes.

Blessings!
Sheila
