In honor of Sony's birthday week.......I am not a poet, but I wanted to do something for her other than just "wishing" her happy birthday! So, here goes......

If you think reading Donna's poem was nice, you should have heard her read it in person. She has such a sweet voice and I felt so special.
I don't generally post during the day and I plan to update y'all on Day 4 later but, after talking with Donna, God began to give me a poem so, since y'all are the inspiration behind it, I figured you wouldn't mind my sharing it. Because of the occasion of my birthday, I'll call it:
My Birthday Prayer
Lord, I feel so utterly blessed though I know I'm undeserving
You could be doing so many things; yet it's me that you're observing
I don't know why Your heart's toward me but I'm thankful that it is
Please help me now to live the life You desire me to live
I know that I'm blessed for a reason and not for personal gain
I pray that I will point others to You and constantly lift up Your Name!

I'm sure I'll say this again but since I'm posting right now, I want to thank each of you who have called and been a part of the Lord's blessings on me this week. I feel really blessed to know you all.
