I'd take it anyway, and try to figure out what to do with it later. Then I'd fill in the hole that it came from and try to leave no trace of anything at all ... then anyone who came afterward would just keep searching and searching, with no clue that the idol was already been found.
And if Ozzy's replacement really was THAT crude, I'd immediately suspect Ozzy had the real one ... there's no way that Cirie, Ami or least of all Kathy would've come up with such a scheme.

LOL....well from the sneak peek at next week looks like we will see what goes on with the fake idol!!!
YAY!!! Joel is GONE!!!!! After seeing the way he dragged that poor guy around that course I was GLAD to see him go!!! He wouldn't even let the man get up before he went charging on again banging his head into things and dragging his around like a dog!!! WHO thought those two would make a good pairing anyway? Not a good choice. After his attitude though, and his obvious disregard for the "tribe" as a whole I am glad he is out of there though!!! They may not have his strength now (which may come back to bite them) , but they also don't have his single person attitude to put up with either!!!

Who in the world casted Chet for this season? The guy is weak, he has no personality, he doesn't seem to be a smart one neither. Maybe he should have been in Big Brothers instead of Survivor. I'm sure with thousands of applicants, there would have been someone else more interesting than him.

yeah, until I saw how he got treated in that one race I thought he needed to go most of all too....but after that treatment I just wanted to see Joel go. The way he treated him was totally uncalled for, and now was the time to get rid of Joel...everyone saw that. Definitely Chet next though. He didn't do so good even in the puzzle competition. Like someone else said....nothing going for him!!!

Tracy and Eric has alienated themselves with the rest of the team and it seems like Amy was the only they would talk to. The other team have more togetherness and it's why they've been winning.

Maybe she told Eric she was going to do that, and he was ok with it ... it would be easier to arrange something like that within your own alliance than to put down someone's name from the other alliance and risk ticking one of them off. No need to make enemies for no good reason.

yeah good point. They didn't show them talking, but Chet said that he was determined that it was his time to go and he had talked to them....so if he did as a small group, and she brought up her "I won't vote for you" thing, then Eric could have told her to just vote for him then. Who knows...they didn't show anything like that, but I can see how that could have taken place. They wouldn't have shown that anyway....it would have taken the suspense out of the final minutes of the program.

Hi, I posted a new thread earlier not knowing this one was on here. I'm a newbie as you can see. So glad to find Survivor fans like me! I think it was good that Chet got voted off because they might have voted off one of the stronger ones. I do think they should watch out for the girl who's a good friend of his. Can't recall her name. I think she could win.

You mean Tracy? Yeah, she's a strong one. The only problem is that now she's only got one or possibly two allies on a tribe of 6. (I don't know if Ami will stick with them at this point or if she'll go back to the Favorites.) Numbers are against Tracy at this point.
