Hey Kimberly!

Maybe when I get settled you can ship some of that lovely California produce to me, say on a bi-monthly basis?

If I could, I would :) I bet you'd love the farmers' markets out here. They're wonderful!

Hi Mike :)

Now back to watching Iron Chef America :D

Christi, what's the story behind the Jon and Kate avatar? I know all about Jon and Kate..you don't have to explain that..I was just curious as to why you chose them for an avatar.

Perfect! Low 50's at night and low 70's during the day with clear skies and a light breeze. So nice that for the first time in ages I did nothing but sit on the porch and read. And doze.

Good Morning, y'all!

Mike, I want to apologize to you. I feel I was a bit brusque last evening with one of my posts; and that certainly wasn't my intent. My intent was actually one of encouragement for anyone and everyone to rely on Our Lord versus their circumstances.

As I was puttering around the house in between posts last night, I remembered that I know what it feels like to try to make friends in an new area only for it to not happen. Since my mid 20s, I've experienced that in two different places where I have lived.

However . . . I simply cannot help but to go back to those Scriptures that Mac and I posted last night. Our Lord promises to be with us throughout anything and everything; regardless of the circumstances. THAT is what pulled me through living in "unfriendly" areas. Our Lord promises that He will never abandon or forsake us. THAT is what give me encouragement and strength to move to unknown areas.

And that is what I was trying to convey last night; but unfortunately, I didn't do that very well.

Please forgive me.

Joiseyboy, I was just about to write a post to you as well.

Front-porch dozing sounds wonderful.

Are you at work today, or did you take the day off?

I hope the root canal goes smoothly; both the procedure and the recovery from it.

Working. Trying not to think about it, but not having much success. This, too, shall pass. I hope he's done before the game starts at 4!

THAT's funny!

OK . . . If I put my mind to it, I can probably finish packing today.

So that's what I'm going to go do now.

Y'all have blessed days today.

Hi Sharon-Marie, thank you for the apology! No worries, and I do agree that God is with us whatever our circumstances. About 2 years ago I felt that God would bless me wherever I go, this was in referrence to my job, but it carries over to other things also.

Thank you again though, you're a peach!

Mike

It's my favorite show and GB's too. Just needed to change my avatar since the Cubs got eliminated from the play offs. Idunno...just thought it was totally cute.

Just remember that no matter what, we love you completely.

And more importantly so does Jesus.

Greetings earthlings! I survived the root canal. Right now the tooth is fine, but the left side of my face feels like it was in a fistfight and lost. Thank you all for your prayers, they were a big help.
