I would feel that way too If I was back in the Seirras and the snow began to fall. It was something I always shared with my Hubby (and kids too) He would get as giddy as I did when the snow fell. You'd think we had never seen snow before we were so mesmerized by it's beauty every time. I don't have many childlike moments so those really stick out in my memory.
Do you get snow where you live? If you do....be sure to come on here and visit w/ us. We'll help you not feel so lonely. {{{{Terri}}}}

Thanks Nadine! *hugs*

We get it about once a year. It usually lasts for a few days. I'm hoping that the loneliness isn't going to last much longer, KWIM?

Nadine - I really like your siggy!

I've heard it as the "F" being both "future" and "fear". I think "fear" is more applicable in delivering the message of the acronym.

Bill . . . what time on Monday, please, will you be having the root canal?

2 pm. And I can't wait. The painkiller he gave me made me sick, but Advil or Tylenol won't put a dent in the pain. And I have to teach tomorrow. May have to pick up some Anbesol or something. Also have to get a mouth piece and start sleeping with that.

You could set a goal to catch Trish (Cherish405). I think she's somewhere around 32,000 or so.

Congratulations, Christine. Praying your life is filled with joy, peace, and prosperity.

Beckey, I actually got the idea last week when I was experimenting in photoshop with some of my self-photos. LOL!

Popsi, I meant to ask you about "baby shift."

Are you a nanny?

Thanks, it's greatly appreciated. So far I've managed with Extra Strength Tylenol alternated with Advil. Now that it's nighttime and I know I'm not going anywhere I took half a percocet. I'll probably be asleep in half an hour. Nice gradient avatar. Gradients are even more fun in Illustrator, Photoshop's lesser known sister. It's for vector graphics instead of rasterized images. Google it, I'm too tired to teach tonight. Going to watch the ball game.

I was referring to the night shift with the baby. I call it the baby shift. Sometimes she is a cranky pants at night. I'm not a nanny, but I live with my best friend who just had a baby and sometimes I help her out by taking the through the night shift...

Hey loons!

I've been putting my new desk together all week and it's finally done and the computer is set up. I've been missing getting online for a minute or two each night!

Congrats to you and your soon to be hubby, Christine!!!

I have a prayer request. We took GB to her ENT follow up appointment yesterday. Her doctor has been hoping her ear tubes would fall out for about a year now and they haven't. He said she had a polyp on each eardrum around her tubes and he wants to do surgery to remove the tubes on October 24th. It's supposed to be a quick and easy surgery, but it's still surgery.

Thanks all!

{{{Christi}}} - I have been thinking about y'all all day.
In fact, I was thinking about you just a few minutes ago.

What time on the 24th?
(so I can mark it down)

How is GB doing? Is she scared about the surgery?

Tell her I said hi, and that I love her.

Y'all give each other hugs for me, please.
