I just got home from some necessary *shudder* shopping. I really hate to shop. But there were some things I needed, and I needed to go to Bed, Bath, & Beyond to get my sister's bridal shower gift(s). Mission accomplished, and I couldn't wait to get back home. Goodness, am I ever a homebody! (A few things I couldn't find, I'm going to do some "window" shopping online.)

I'm trying to unwind. Just drove 2+ hours from my sisters house out in the country back home after a week-long visit. The kids and I had lots of fun at my sister's church's VBS.

Yes, Shar-Mar, those are Trish's wedding colors. Me...I just had lavender. Even my bouquet was lavender daisies. My two bridesmades had lavender suits that they could actually wear again in real life. It was a simple wedding, and not well planned. We focused so much on premarital counseling that we just threw the wedding together hap-hazaredly. We even forgot to have the pastor extend a salvation invitation, which I had always meant to include in my wedding.
