Bummer. Is that not really your type of movie anyway?

I'm looking forward to the new Indiana Jones movie and the X-files sequel!

It was fun chatting, Mike. I'm sleepy and off to dream land.

Talk to you next time!

Christi, yeah, it is not really my type of movie, I am more of a comedies person instead. Plus I do not like anything that is more than 2 hours long anyway.

Esther, yeah, I never read the books either.

Well Christi and Esther, I am heading out too very shortly as well. You all have a goodnight now! Sweet dreams!

Hi, I am a friend of Restored_Heart (Amy).... She said that this was a safe place to be here.... Hi Shar-mar and all the loonies!

Welcome to Sharon-Marie's little corner of Sunshine Acres, where the inmates are most definitely in charge. Just jump on in and add to the lunacy. We don't mind.

Good morning Sunshine. You're looking quite lovely this morning.

I don't recall what it was rated, but is it something I'd need to watch when my 3 year old is asleep?

It's only PG, but if it had any sex or language at all, would have been PG-13, I'm sure.

The violence is way too graphic for a 3 yo, IMO. We saw it this weekend (my mom's work gave out 4 free tickets to each employee) and there were a ton of 2-6 year olds there, many of whom left crying. There's too much of a story line for that age to follow also.

I agree with the recommendation to get a sitter, see it in the theater, and then buy it to watch when GB is older.

kidsinmind.com is a great website for checking on sex, violence, and language content in movies, BTW.

Whassup, y'all?!

Sorry that I've not posted anything for awhile, but I've been trying to keep up with what's going on in here. You guys and gals make it sorta hard to do, though. Whenever I go away for even a day and a half, y'all just gab to beat the band. Oh well! That makes it all the more fun to try and get back up to speed!

BTW, Shar-Mar? I agree with everybody else: that is a great picture! You are one lovely lady, with an even more lovely spirit. I can't wait for Mary and I to meet you someday down in TN.

We interrupt the posting to bring you this important message...

We Wisconsinites DO NOT have accents!!

And Mike, I think your Boston accent is "soft". I agree with Sharon-Marie's perception.

And Bill has a bit of Joisey in his voice.

Welcome Praying Lady and Besideherself.

Well . . . Donna . . . the Bible does tell us that beauty is fleeting.

I guess I didn't think it could flee that suddenly.

Uh, not that you're not beautiful now...

Hehe...

I just realized something . . .

I responded to THIS POST with my current avatar . . . ROFLOL!

I'm curious as to how the OP will respond after seeing my post to him, along with my avatar.

BTW - Guys . . . it's a She Says thread, so unfortunately y'all won't be able to post over there.

However, DaveW started a similar thread over in Relationships if y'all want to have your say.

Do a search on his handle. There's one called "Love / Repulsion"

I think I may just need to stay away from his threads . . .

. . . When I have the overwhelming urge to reach through the computer screen and slap someone until they eyes are rolling in their head, that's usually a good clue for me.

I thought that "objectifying" was what Briscoe Darling did to the engagement of Opie and Andelina when he found out Andy had witchery in the family.

And I thought I was the only one. I thought I was going to die of boredom when I went to see the first Pirates of the Carribean. I kept thinking, "When is this over?!?!"

This avatar's only been up for about 3 or 4 minutes.

It's a scarf I was playing around with.

The avatar right before this one was the one that was scaring people.

The avatar before that one was making people remember when they forgot the '60s.
