Y'all - please pray for a friend named Susie and another friend named Jimbo.
Susie was in a hit and run accident this evening coming home from work. A guy hit her very hard and very fast from behind and then the force of the impact propelled her car off the road and into a ditch embankment. Susie said she had to crawl out of the ditch (in heels and a skirt). She hit her head on the steering wheel, but she seems to be ok from that. Her neck, both shoulders, right arm and right leg are pretty sore.
Yesterday, Jimbo was driving his truck and I'm sketchy on the details, but as he got out of the truck, his legs went out from underneath him. At the moment, he's unable to walk (he's not paralyzed; his legs are so banged up that he can't put his weight on them to support himself).
Thanks for y'all's prayers of Healing, Comfort and Our Lord's Covering for both Susie and Jimbo.

RE: Susie . . . The rental car place sent a drive out yesterday to bring her a car. She and I, in turn, drove him back to the car rental place. She is really very sore and in a lot of pain. I've been rubbing arnica into her shoulders, neck and right arm these past couple of days. Yesterday, her right shoulder and the right side of her neck was extremely inflamed . . . so like any good friend would do, I started pounding her her shoulders and pressing into her neck with with my fists.  . She has a huge bruise on chest from the seatbelt and basically her right side of her entire body is still pretty sore.
RE: Jimbo . . . I found out yesterday that he has steel rods in his back and his knees were not in good shape before he fell. I'm going to have to get clarification on this, but I think he broke both his legs during the fall.

Actually, I can't take any credit for it anyway . . . it's really y'all who make this place safe.
Which reminds, me . . . it occurred to me the other day that I've been so very remiss in my manners these past few months with new people coming to this thread and not welcoming them or introducing them.
I need to rectify that right now.

They're pretty harmless. Well, at least that's their goal, anyway.
