Kinda reminds me of a Steven Wright joke where he did this listening to learning immersion records while he sleeped. During the night the record skipped, so he could only stutter in 5 different languages!

ORIGINAL: WhiteRoseBlessings Steve! You snuck in here! I was thinking about you a lot yesterday; specifically with the classes. I'm stressing already a bit about the next class--Speech. Oh no! What do you have to talk about? There are three speeches in that class. One is an eight minute speech using only notes with keywords. It's a researched topic. And I don't know if I can keep all that in my head and try to do an effective speech for eight minutes.

ORIGINAL: zmanfan38 Speech was awesome!!! I liked it so much because my degree is in the medical field and at the time, I was knee deep in my MT core classes and my speeches were about gross and disgusting things that made the class look like this -> I loved doing that. That would probably be a lot of fun. Maybe I should find a gross out subject.

Good Morning y'all! quote:
ORIGINAL: Focusing Hey, did you see this about the 15-year-old boy who sounds like Johnny Cash? I just received this in an email from a friend and remembered you were talking about the Jackson song he sang ... so I wanted to share this with ya. Pretty amazing! Oh Sam, that was pretty cool! (Although I personally thought the kid sounded more like Nancy Sinatra). I'm totally kidding about that, btw. One of the videos on the sidebard of that page piqued my interest as well . . . the one about getting to speak to actual human people when calling customer service people. I spent over an hour yesterday in voice prompt misery. I had called my telephone company to add something to my account. I was given 3 choices at the beginning of the call: Sales & Service, Billing, Technical Support. Sales and Service was the one I needed; then it would go through another series of questions (If you are calling for ___, press 1, etc., etc.) When I selected the category I needed, it took me right back to the very first greeting! I finally requested Technical help; got a real person, told him what I needed (knowing he wouldn't be able to help but that he would need to transfer me to sales and service) and then stressed to him that I did not want to be transferred into the system again but that I wanted to be transferred to a real human being. He was very nice about it; and it actually took several minutes, but he finally got me through to a real human being. Anyway . . . that video clip mentioned 2 websites: www.dialahuman.com www.gethuman.com These sites apparently have tips on how to bypass all that voice prompting rigamarole. Here's the link to that video, as well.

Is this where we mentioned Eddy Arnold? A bit of forums blur here. Anyway: Cattle Call Richest Man in the World - (this is a good song, by the way! I don't remember ever hearing it before) Youtube has so many of them!

Those are good videos. Its really storming here now so I'm going off line. I was going to get ready for church but the house is literally shaking. I think I will stay indoors for now.
