I don't know if I dare say I plan on sticking a beer in the freezer for about 20 minutes to get it good and cold.

Well if you're gonna drink one, it's better cold than hot... JMHO...

I find this ramblin' thread to be quite unexpectedly educational sometimes.

You're not supposed to hug pizza. You're supposed to eat it! Or, if you want, you can hug it and then hand it to me and I'll take care of it.

LOL! Sharon - your vernacular is crackin' me up!

Y'all - please pray for my neighbor . . . her name is Susie.

She's got some health problems going on . . . and some of them are a bit exacerbated at this very moment. I just got back home a couple of minutes ago from checking on her. She's got someone with her tonight.

I'll pray too, SharMar.

Soon as I get all cozy in my bed...where I'm headed right this minute.

You might like that veggie pizza made with creme cheese and raw veggies! I need to make it.

Sharon-Marie, that really is kind that you check on your neighbor like that.

Aww thanks, Kath.

I only met her a couple of weeks ago, but she is a very nice lady. She's in her late 30's and she so sweet to everyone.

Thanks for the prayers for her, y'all!

And Donna - sweet dreams in your cozy comfy bed.

Yes, will pray for Susie.

Man, I wish we could have met up with the other posters for dinner tonight. We had a yummy salad at Ruby Tuesday which is lots less expensive than Tony's BBQ and just down the road from our house too. Darn budgets.

SharMar, did your day settle down as time went on? Ours stayed about the same. Maybe tomorrow will be better.

Pretty well; it's been kinda of a weird day (nothing major nor bad; just weird).

Right now, I'm stuffing my face with radishes.

How is your day going?

Now see, that is weird!

Good evening, Sharon-Marie and everyone.

Aren't neighbors wonderful? I also think it's great you're keeping tabs on Susie, SharMar. I live in a condo, and even though I'm not real close to the people in the other units in my building, I know them, and I'm concerned about them. I'm closer to some than others.

The lady in front of me, Ruth, a few years ago when I broke my toe, cooked me breakfast and brought it over! That just touched me beyond belief.

Last week, another lady passed away. It was rather sudden. She had had back surgery, and was believed to be doing well, but she was in her late 80's, and I suppose at that age, anything can happen. I didn't know her well, but she was always around, a porch-sitter, just always there, saying hello. I'm really going to miss her. Her name was Tillie (for Matilda). Isn't that a great name?

I'm concerned for Ruth. They were really good friends. Did everything together. Ruth even took her to church the day she died.

Now THAT was very sweet, Mike; thank you!

The thing that impressed me the most about meeting you is how genuinely you listen to people.

Awww, thanks, I listen to people? That is something that people have been telling me, but I haven't really noticed myself. I think that its important to pay attention in a conversation and see what people have to say.
