works for me.

Denise - you so exaggerate things. It would have only been page 1799.

My bad. I liked the number 1800 though.

It's rounder.
Numbers are always better rounded.
Gee, maybe I should become a number

And actually, I just checked and you were only off by 1,481 pages. Not much.

Why's that? I'm guessing it's your birth year?

You haven't aged at all. One would truly only guess that you were only 400+ years old; certainly not over half a millenium.

I had to say that.
Considering that you and I share a commonality . . . the year 1981.
Of course, I was graduating from high school; you were being bathed diapered and burped.

Uhm, sure.

Maybe I should quit my job so I can stay home and stay caught up in forums?

Or not...your option, and since I don't know you...
well, I reiterate "your option"
if you're independently wealthy go for it...as they say "try it, you might like it" & all those others cliches

It is fun...most of the time anyway....

Hey, I only wore diapers part of the year. I was potty-trained early.

Well hmmpph!

I'll have you know that I didn't wear a single diaper in 1981.

So.
There.

Well, that is certainly reassuring to know, let me tell you. I think I'd be slightly worried if you had worn diapers in 1981.

Nope, that right there was true sincerity. No lace about it.

Laughing at my sincerity??? I'm hurt.

I think I need to drown my sorrows in a vat of chocolate. That'll probably help. Can someone pass the double boiler??

I'll share some of my chocolate peppermint coffee with you.

Other than that, all I have is cocoa powder.

Well, I have raw sugar and some half-n-half. I'm sure we could come up with something

Maybe if we throw them all in the pot together, the cocoa, raw sugar, and half and half, maybe when heated it will be like a vat of chocolate.

Well, it would be a small vat, but sure; that will work.

Gee . . . I don't know if any of my burners are big enough to accommodate a vat. Maybe we could use all 4 burners and then combine the chocolate afterward.

Hey, that could work. As long as the end result is a vat, I don't think it really matters how we get to that point. A vat's a vat, right??

The baby seems to be ok. They took xrays and sent him home. Unfortunately he's too young for any pain killers (seven weeks or so). We'll be watching him later tonight. They just said the usual about bringing him back if he has troubles waking up or gets sick.

Apparently he's hard-headed, like his grandpa.

Thank God and thanks for all the prayers.

5 stars for hard-headedness! Ray, I'm glad the news is good.
