Hey, I live in southeastern mi too. Did a lot of fishing on lake Erie when I was a kid. Caught alot of Pearch and could catch 30-35" walleye all day long! That was a long time ago though. Haven't been on that lake in 20 years. Lot's of good memories with Dad!

Yeah, I love Perch and Walleye fishing. Alas the boat remains in a state of dis-repair on dry land for the season. And with the price of gas, it will likely stay that way.

Not for me! Gotta have priorities... I can eat pimiento cheese for a week to have $$$ for my fishing boat.
Blew the engine in my bass boat last week... oil pump failed and cooked one cylinder. So I'm boat shopping as there are some really, really, really good deals out there. I may keep the bass boat after repairs, but am looking at a new pontoon to leave in the water. I can't leave my bass boat tied up to the dock for weeks, it would sink in a big rain shower... but a pontoon won't sink, and they make them now daze with bait wells and optional fishing seats!

I'll bet there are a lot of good deals out there right now. The marina that I use is just down the street about half a block away. On most years they would look very full by now. Not this year. It looks about 10% full...lots of empty slips.

After picking up a cup of coffee at the drive-up window at Tim Horton's a few years ago, I was realizing that it was terrible. Just then a commercial came on the radio saying how Tim Horton's makes their coffee very consistently...the exact same way every time.

I've been on and off the caffeine for a few years now. Definitely feel better without it, but those "morning drugs" just kinda can suck ya right back in. Especially the terribly good ones!

I wonder if I should cut down on the caffeine as well?

How much of it do you drink?

Only rarely was I drinking coffee. Perhaps at a restaurant with breakfast I'd have a cup perhaps once a month or so. My real caffeine source was Diet Coke. At least a sixpack per day was very typical consumption.

Whoa!!! Ray... drinking coffee aaaaall day long would be 50 times more healthy than a six pack of any soft drink! Soft drinks are truly poisonous to the body!!!

If you drank milk all day, you'd gain two pounds... in acne.

You must drink froo-froo fancy coffee. I like it straight black, with a few granules in the bottom of the mug... camp fire style. That's REAL coffee.

Coffee made in a press is where it's at. The filters in automatic drip machines absorb all the good stuff.

Back when I was in the navy, I used to drink coffee just to stay awake. Let's just say that navy coffee isn't the premium blend stuff.

We had an old-fashioned percolator-type coffee make...the kind with the basket strainer at the top where you put the coffee grounds. On midnight shift, sometimes we'd brew a pot, then turn it off and let it cool a little. Then we'd perk it again. Now that would keep you awake.
