A trailer for Season 4 of Lost is here:

New episodes begin Thursday Jan. 31 at 9.

I can't wait!!!!

GodChick -> RE: Lost Season 4 (12/19/2007 1:51:04 PM)

WooHoo! That's my birthday! Just the present I wanted! [:D]

uncabeeil -> RE: Lost Season 4 (12/19/2007 2:21:59 PM)

From what I just read in the NY Times, there are a whopping 8 new episodes. Just enough to whet our appetites.

Random -> RE: Lost Season 4 (12/19/2007 2:25:04 PM)

Correct -- each season is now 16 episodes, and they shot half of them before the strike.

Kath -> RE: Lost Season 4 (12/19/2007 9:56:19 PM)

it breaks my heart too. :(

that trailer was awesome!

I wish they would have repeated the last season before this one started, it's been so long.

uncabeeil -> RE: Lost Season 4 (12/20/2007 8:08:28 AM)

We taped all of last season (I know, how 90's! [8D]) and watched teh season ender a couple of weeks ago. There were a lot of "Oh, yeah!" moments. Like, "Oh, yeah, Walt shows up!"

Heatherlea -> RE: Lost Season 4 (12/20/2007 8:35:37 AM)

I can't wait, I'm glad they are starting in January instead of February, even though its at the end of the month.

uncabeeil -> RE: Lost Season 4 (12/20/2007 8:41:56 AM)

Yeah, they're in January by a whole three hours. Thank goodness for that! [;)]

Kath -> RE: Lost Season 4 (12/20/2007 9:03:51 AM)

Maybe I'll see if the dvds are at the local movie rental place.

~~~~~~~~~
I just checked abc.com and one can view them online. This computer is too old but my laptop could view them. YAY!
trinigirl722 -> RE: Lost Season 4 (12/20/2007 9:24:11 PM)
I can't wait either!!![sm=funny.gif] I know eight episodes isn't much, but it's still a lot to look forward to.
Wayfaring_Stranger -> RE: Lost Season 4 (12/24/2007 12:20:00 PM)
Wasn't this supposed to be their last season? Or did they have another year after this one? I knew they had set an endpoint, but I can't remember when it was. I wonder how the strike will affect that.
Who do you think the rescuers are? Evidently up to no good. I wonder if they came because they knew the original Dharma Initiative people were killed and they came to get Ben and either rebuild or destroy the site.
BTW, I'm asking for speculation rather than spoilers, but if you want to post spoilers, so it in the lightened text so those who don't want to know won't be surprised.
Random -> RE: Lost Season 4 (12/24/2007 2:04:16 PM)
The agreement was three more seasons of 16 episodes each.
So, maybe they do 8, 24 and 16 instead.
[:D]
I slowed down the preview on tv really really slow and I saw something and I want to tell you, but it's a spoiler so I wont'. *sigh*
I am so looking forward to the new season.
To me a spoiler is something someone hears from an outside source -- "leaks" about what's supposed to happen, who is supposed to die, etc. I wouldn't classify something you saw in a commercial, even in slo-mo, as a spoiler, so share on. [:)] You can always put spoilers in text people have to highlight to see, too, so those who want to see it can but those who don't can avoid reading it.
Kath -> RE: Lost Season 4 (12/26/2007 12:05:32 AM)
[sm=funny.gif]I was hoping someone would want to know because I was ready to bust.
You all may already know this and I am just so far behind but...
Charlie isn't dead. I can't remember who (it wasn't Desmond) but someone swam down to the looking glass and next thing you know he is standing on the beach.
lexie -> RE: Lost Season 4 (12/28/2007 10:42:36 AM)
Woohoo Kath!!!! I love finding out stuff like this.
This will be the first season I can watch on tv right from the beginning. Too bad it's the shortened season. I watched Season 1 and 2 and the first half of 3 in about a month, and then managed to join the tv schedule at the middle of season 3.
I went out last night and rented the bonus features of season 3 from Blockbuster, since I still have season 3 saved on my pvr. I have been quite disappointed so far. I'm going to have to go watch the trailer now, then spend the next month rewatching season 3.
momma-mo -> RE: Lost Season 4 (1/7/2008 8:51:21 PM)
Go to my new thread...Lost....found. You all will have fun with that one! I need to go back and finish. Can't wait for season 4!!!![:)]
violetlight -> RE: Lost Season 4 (1/10/2008 3:44:23 PM)
I can't wait for Lost season 4. I recently caught up on Season 3 so I feel like I sorta know what's going on. But, do you ever really know what's going on??!
At any rate, really looking forward to it!
There is a devotional book out called What can be found in LOST by Ankerberg & Burroughs.
LINK
" What can Christians learn from one of the most popular TV series of all time?
In its first season, LOST averaged 15.5 million viewers per episode. The show features a cast that struggles with the eternal issues of identity, conflict, relationships, and spirituality. Though the show does not have a Christian foundation or theme, there is much believers can learn about social and cultural attitudes and perspectives through its episodes?such as... the selfish bent of human nature the darkness of evil the hunger people have for acceptance and success the realization of our need for God the hope for a positive future
Many of the problems and difficulties of everyday life are captured succinctly in LOST? making it a useful point of reference?for understanding how different people view issues of a spiritual nature. Ankerberg and Burroughs offer practical suggestions for Christians who desire to talk effectively to others about the various themes in the show. "
Kath -> RE: Lost Season 4 (1/24/2008 9:29:46 PM)
I used to watch John Ankerberg every week.
Another LOST enthusiast here! For Christmas, my husband bought me the first 3 seasons. We are re-watching them. There is just so much stuff in them. It is hard to grasp it all.
I love a show that makes one think!
Wednesday they are airing the season finale from last season. I thought they said there will be some things in it that wasn't shown in the finale. I can't remember for sure but that's in my brain for some reason.
