The buying of honey on the side of the road got me thinking about what goes on here. Along our road, some Muslim people sell fruits and veggies out of vans parked on the street. It looks like good produce and a lot of people buy so I'm assuming the prices are good, but much of the address printed on the side of the van is erased and all this left is three 6's. So, I'm still purchasing my produce from the store!

Oh, I hear you! I have 5 kids and I hate it when someone thinks that they are being so spiritual or whatever by taking sick children to church. My kids don't get sick much, but they do catch stomach bugs once in a while. Stomach bugs going through 5 kids and 5 adults and sometimes more than once is SOOO not fun. And just so someone could bring their one kid to church instead of missing one service. I have been known to miss 3 or 4 Sundays in a row from stomach junk going through our house.
(not that I think this a problem with small families. I have seen families of all different sizes do that)

How is everyone today? Anyone want to talk about the joys of (almost) 2yr olds? Sarah, is Jack getting close to the "no's" yet?

lol....he has started holding stuff behind his back when we tell him to give it to us. He isn't very verbal yet though....not like Emma was. She was speaking in full sentences by his age....he mostly grunts and has a few words (10 - 15) that all sound alike.

That's how my Jackson was! Riley, OTOH, is very bossy and verbal. Especially in the late morning when she is getting tired and cranky...everything is "NOOOO!"

I remember the terrible twos. I got to hand the kids back to their parents at the end of the day though.

Let's see...when Noah is 18, Nick will be 17, Hannah will be 13, Levi will be 11, and the unnamed little one will be 9.5. Wow. Talk about boggling the mind.

Sarah, I was thinking of how I'm going to split the kids up between the two bedrooms. Right now, Noah and Nick share a room (and hate it) and Hannah has a bed in there for when she will actually sleep there.  Levi is all alone in a huge room. It depends on if this baby is a boy or girl, I think, but I was thinking maybe if it's a girl, we could go to girl and boy rooms. Hmmm...
What are you planning on doing, both short and long term?

How many bedrooms do you have? (I am assuming three since that's all you mention)
Here when we first moved in we had Jack in our room, Matt and Jake in the room that is a garage conversion into a bedroom (so it's on the other side of the house), and the girls together down the hall from us. The fourth bedroom was used as an office.
When Matt moved out and Jack needed to come out of our room, we moved the office stuff out to the est in area of the kitchen (which we are currently moving again because it doesn't work there very well) and were going to make the fourth bedroom into the "baby" room...so Jack and the other baby. Then I had the miscarriage and I couldn't handle doing any more...so I stopped.
Jake doesn't like being alone...but he has been since Matt left in October. He has tried to talk us into putting him and Jack together, but I don't think there is room for that...because of the fact that Jack's room houses the baby furniture (crib, changing table, etc) and has all the clothes for the three youngest kids. So there really isn't room for a twin bed in here. (Oh yeah...the internet runs in there so we haven't switched that over to the living room yet either...so the computer is still in jack's room).
The girls like being together...and it works great for them. The boys...not so sure. We could put Jack and Jake together if we switched the girls to the smaller room (Jack's)...because they have a bunk bed. Their room is the largest of the bedrooms. I don't know what we will do in the future, but what we have right now isn't working too hot for us yet....still haven't found a good way to work everything out.
