I just thought it would be enlightening for us men to say what we thought the perfect woman or wife would be in that once we have an idea of what she is or should be it may well help us see some of her qualities in all women and help us as men to value and respect them in love all the more for who they can be in Christ.

So what do we think?

I'm not sure about what people consider "perfect" to be, but somewhere in there has to be honesty. If you can't trust her, then nothing else really matters.

To me, the closest thing to a perfect woman is a woman that is diligently seeking to know God and to give her life to Him.

After that, it's all just personality.

hm..i would have to say that, as perfect as a woman can be because no one is perfect, but she is funny, caring, compassionate, great with kids, accepting, patient, loving, has a heart for God, does everything for God and for His glory, is selfless to a degree, beautiful inside and outside...someone that you just look at and cant help but smile because of the joy she brings to you, when you think of her you cant really think of anything that you would ever want to change..ever, etc :) ya, thats the perfect woman for me..shes great

Perfect is like the speed of light, it can be approached, but never attained.

For me, the best possible woman is:

- strong enough to do what is right without considering the cost
- weak enough to admit when she is wrong
- cares for me and loves me
- lets me care for her and love her
- willing to be protected and to protect (me)
- easygoing
- laughs and can play, can be silly or serious
- no fool, not anybody's fool
- willing to learn and to teach

yes there is no perfect anyone. but a woman that will diligently seek gods face with you and submit as the word of god states for her to is an awesome woman. however in order for us to seek the woman of god we first have to be in christ aswell and be the man the bible talks about.

Not afraid to get down and dirty in the bedroom but does not discuss it
what so ever with others. In others words, our private life stays

makes alot of money but always availaible to spend time w/me when
I want to.

Must like but not love cats and dogs.

That’s a hard question, a perfect woman?
I think one who is a biblical encyclopedia and concordance. So I can ask her for any verse in the Bible and she can tell me, or ask her to give me every verse that has the ‘son of man’ in it etc. That would be real handy. Seriously though, I would love a woman who had a good knowledge of God’s word, one who loves her Bible and is sincere in her religion. Only a woman like that could possibly be perfect.

Yes no one is perfect but all things are made perfect in the love of Christ. We could then say what we look for in a woman is love. She then would then in love be patient, and kind to us and others. She will not envy, nor will she boast, for she will not be proud except of God and her husband.

In love she will not be rude, and never be self-seeking, and most importantly for us guys is she will not be easily angered. Thus she will keep no record of our wrongs for in love she does not delight in evil but rejoices in God's and our truthfulness and righteousness. She will then in love always protect us, always trust us, always hopes the best of us, and always perseveres with us.

Men will speak well of us when they gather at the market gates because of our wife's righteousness and love and we will be sightly ashamed for we will never be as righteous and loving as she is. We will be touched by her love and feel a little guilty that we may not be all she looks for in a man of God. She may not be a woman that stops traffic with her beauty but there will be no other human being in the world that we would want to spend our time with.

Praise God for what our wives and sisters in Christ are but praise God even more for all they can be and praise Him even more than that for what we can be in Christ.

I guess what I am getting at is, that in Christ there is this concept of the "perfect" and I am just trying to counter some of the low opinion we have of women which can only go to devaluing women in general and also lead to self destructive attitudes in our relationships with our sisters in Christ.

What I am trying to come to terms with is that if a woman is "in Christ", there is no condemnation although many men would still find fault. Now if Peter was also told not to call anything God had created, "evil" or "unclean", how can we continue to say our sisters in Christ have not been made perfect in Him for as many will confess they have the righteousness of Christ for Christ is in them and they are in Christ?

Okay, sure we have all sinned and fall short of the image and glory God has for us all but like God we have all come to know sin for all have sinned but unlike God only we can actually sin.

Here I see sin as being primarily defined by being separated from a saving knowledge of God/Christ. That is, out side of a saving relationship with Christ. For condemnation is not about doing bad things as salvation is by faith and the grace of God alone. In this sense women are exactly where God would have them be. They may not do everything perfectly but they are loved and acceptable in Christ. They are exactly where Christ would have them be, and that is in a relationship with Him from which they like men see their shortcomings and need for the grace, love, forgiveness and blood of Christ their Lord.

Now if Christ then calls them His sisters should we then continue to vilify them by saying they are not worthy of His attention? Perhaps, if they did everything we men wanted them to do they would be perfect, but not necessarily in His eyes. Can we say, if any one wants to be perfect, they should see their own unworthiness and be distressed at their own sinfulness? Can we rejoice in knowing our unworthiness or can we say we have been made perfect through our deliverance from our ignorance of our sin?

Would then a more positive and loving image of our sisters then go a long way to help delivering many a brother from their addiction to pornography?

In the end, "praise God!", for the positive image He Himself has given us of the perfect woman isn't she lovely?

This is an easy one. First, she must be FINE!!! And equally important is that she doesn't bother you while you're watching foot ball. Tha't it right there brother. Once you've found those two qulaities, you're on your way to a lifetime of happiness[:D][:D][:D]!...of course you know I'm kidding; right?

i believe different men have different emotional needs (sex, affection, admiration, recreational companionship, domestic support, etc) and thus someone who's perfect for me may not be perfect for you.

I'm married to her. Been so for almost 30 years now.

The perfect woman is an equal and a partner. This requires as much on your part as it does on hers. I see a lot of men with these great women, who wish those women were this, or that, or whatever, and are unhappy about their situation. If they only knew how lucky they were to get someone as good as what they've got, they might gain a better appreciation for their circumstances.

I find a lot of men lack "situational awareness"...
