poof........it goes away, but since it's been in Australia it's become a 'boomerang cold' and comes back in half an hour. So drink a hot toddy and eat a bunch of kiwis.

I got a resent wish: praise God, our friend found a room to rent just where she wanted and from a Christian family. So we'll have the house to ourselves as of August.

Now I wish I could go church shopping for the summer. All the churches are having pot lucks and BBQs and rummage sales. And I like to see what's happening at different places.

Don't go church shopping. Just pray and ask God where he wants to be. There are no perfect churches. Just people who love God.

I still feel really sick and it feels more like the flu with nose works going constantly. What should I do?

Scream like your avatar shows. Maybe you'll scare the germs out.

I do hope you feel better soon. I just recently had the worst cold I've had in years, and a little of it's still hanging on. I can commiserate with ya!

I wish I could draw, so I could do cartoons like car2ner suggested.

((((poof))))) You can draw beautifully. Now you're doing caricatures of all your family and friends and a comic for the newspapers too!

I wish I could sleep better every night.

just combine the two tasks: poof.......your house and its contents just disappeared. Don't worry - it's summer so you can camp on the lot where the house used to stand.

I wish I could get a glimpse of the beaver that's moved into the lake where I swim.

(((poof))) by the looks of your avvy, the cat has! The beaver has come knocking on your door and asked for some toothpicks. You are stunned to find out your beaver is from Narnia and can talk.

I wish I had gotten some photos of the lightening... the storm blowing thru tonight was very loud.

poof....you'll keep having huge lightening storms till you get plenty of pictures. Was that a tree that just got hit and fell on your roof? Ouch, your deck just went up in flames. Well, that will make a good pic.

I wish you guys in the South would send some heat up here. I just had to turn on the heater it was so chilly in here.

POOF!! I'll just grab some heat from Car2ner (she won't mind--really!) and send it to you in the mail. Hmm. What's the standard postage rate for heat?

I wish I could think up a really great, creative wish.

(((poof))) as you were sleeping you came up with a most wonderful wish...but forgot it as you got up.

btw, with that heat you are getting humidty. The mail may actually get delivered damp. A reply envelope got stuck shut because it was so humid out.

I wish the folks in NH can rebuild quickly. I never thought a tornado would blow through and tear up my old stomping grounds!

I never thought I'd miss my husband so bad this summer. It's been so hard recently not have DH who went to be in heaven.

nice to have you back Carleejoan. How was your trip? Send your dh a couple of kisses to heaven and tell him 'hello' from us. Bet he's sending you hugs from heaven.

I'm here at a nature lodge in the mountains with my son and family. My 6 yr old grandson's friend is here and his little brother is a match for Monster Boy. If you hear that a portion of the cascades blew up, you know the reason. I wish they'd serve real coffee and food here instead of the healthy stuff. But hey, there is net connection.

POOF! Monster boy and his friend post a video on You Tube that gets so many hits that they become famous. Now you can see them all the time. But if you've posted any videos, nobody is watching them because everyone only wants to see Monster boy.

I wish someone would invent a calorie-free dessert that tastes just like a chocolate cream-filled doughnut.

Please don't blow up the Cascades Still4gyvn. No I didn't go on my trip yet. Aug 6 to 20 we'll aliens in different land. Canadians in Disney World!! LOL I'll try to wear that stunned "tourist" look.

Usually you don't want the fake food. Eat the real thing and then you'll be satisfied. Just eat one though. I wish for nothing right now. I feel okay. Sorry about that. God is good.

Nothing to be sorry about. That's a good problem to have. "Godliness with contentment is great gain." I know that's a Scripture verse, but I'm not sure where it's found.

Thank you so much for the permission to eat a chocolate cream-filled doughnut! Now I wish I had one.
