Poof...you are super self-disciplined but if you think trying to keep-all-the-ducks-in-a-row was tough before, now you are trying to do that while they all float off into space.

I wish I could wear ironman's boots (too keep from floating off) and watch Annie try to keep everying all orderly.

poof...........you got your boots on, but now the earth is back to normal rotation and it's impossible to walk in them. Annie's ducks are raining down from the sky. Duck.

I wish I had some peace and quiet.

POOF! Ahh, peace! Ahh, quiet! Until the next emergency five seconds later. You didn't say how long you wanted peace and quiet.

I wish I could think of a wish. I'm stuck!

POOF! The kids love it! And they're learning something useful, all right. They're learning that theater games are so much more fun than math class. They don't want to leave you! They're just want to stay in your class all the time, and you won't get a break.

I wish the next 17 minutes would go by very quickly, so I can go home.

Poof things in Iraq are settled. All the people there have moved to your home town. Now you have to find homes for them and jobs too.

I wish I could make decisions and they would be the right ones.

I wish my computer chair was more comfortable.

Well, on the other thread, you said you keep waking up at night, so it's no wonder you're tired. Let's see - you sent me to the gym, so I think I'll send you to the doctor. poof.......doc prescribes a long vacation to Hawaii and a new wardrobe. But you health plan doesn't seem to think they should pay.

I wish I had a good activity for the monster boys (6&4 yr old grandkids) today.

Poof You've got a box of tools to give them to take apart Grandpa's car for "educational" purposes. LOL Or "fix" anything their little hearts desire!

I went to the doctor and told him I have a hard time sleeping. Anyhow hopefully I wish and hope I can get caught up on housework now.

POOF! The new well-rested you is able to do all that housework in a flash! And that wore you out and so you're tired all over again.

I wish my husband hadn't found out on Monday that his job is going to Germany without him.

I wish I could hear soon what your man's new wonderful position is.

*Poof* Car2ner discovers that Annie64's husband is now her assistant. Now you're paying his paycheck.

I wish that the movers would get my belongings to my new residence quickly.

poof.......theygot there already! Too bad all that speeding caused a crash and most of your stuff is crushed. But at least the fire in the truck was put out, so there's really more water damage than charcoal.

I wish I had three new easy chairs for the living room.

*Poof* You have three oversized easy chairs. Only problem is that Rent-A-Center wants them back and is handing you a large bill for them.

I wish life wasn't so cluttered.

Poof Life is not cluttered anymore. You live in a mud hut in the Amazon jungle and you sleep in a hammock and hope your blanket won't touch the floor for the big huge bugs that decorate the hut!

I wish that I just could get moving.

*Poof* Your feet start sprinting out of your control. You haven't been to the bathroom in hours and you still can't get yourself to stop.

I wish there weren't DVD regions so I wouldn't have to put up with finicky single-region players or getting stuck watching foreign DVDs with VLC Media Player.

POOF! You no longer have to put up with anything finicky about DVD's or DVD players. When you moved to your mud hut in the Amazon, there was no electricity, so you have no way to play them.

I wish car2ner would give my dh a raise, since of course he is the best assistant she could ever have. And of course there are a lot of things I want...

(poof) I have sinned and bought a lotto ticket that provided me with a huge windfall.... and now your DH has a good bonus, the business is booming, and you have a few dollars to spend. Now your neighbors are jealous and won't speak to you and someone is fussing that it is the devil's money and you should give it all back or give it to the poor.

I wish folks would recongnize a blessing when they see one. I think some folk are only happy when they have something to complain about.
