I read on another message board that Roy Webb (former piano player with EHSSQ) was at the NQC and playing piano with the Booth Brothers.
According to Michael, Roy has a booth right next to theirs. He plans to go solo - singing, playing piano and giving his testimony.
I think it's great he back in southern gospel.

I saw him on the NQC webcast last night. When the Booth Bros. started their set & they showed a couple of glimpses of the pianist, I thought, 'That's Roy Webb'. It was great seeing him again. I pray he's a success with his solo career.

I was looking at some NQC pictures on www.gospelmusicupdate.com and he was playing the piano for the Booth Brothers.

Roy was at NQC and played the piano on the main stage. He had a booth there also.

Very, very neat!!! Phil Collingsworth is a wonderful gentleman. And Roy's wife (Jamie) is very nice.

My take on Roy Webb at the NQC is that he was being available for anything that would get him exposure as he played for some other short songs with other groups. I believe he will wind up in another group and is doing the "solo thing" like so many others do till the right thing comes along.
