Certainly we all have lots of things for which to be thankful. Specifically, I've had three 'good eating' days. I've posted before about my struggles with weight and overeating. I thank God that I've not abused food for three days. I've not succumbed to the flesh. For that I'm grateful.

I thank God for almost being done Christmas shopping.
I only have a few more presents to buy and thats it,than the wrapping.

There are so many things I'm grateful for today ... for being alive, for knowing that no matter how many times I fall, God will ALWAYS be there to pick me up ... I'm thankful that I know that once I repent, the Lord Jesus Christ forgets my sin and allows me to grow in His name. I'm thankful for my health, my wonderful husband and our happy, healthy and amazing 5 year old! I'm thankful for my job, our home, our family ... in essence for EVERYTHING, but most of all, for the GRACE God bestows on my life every day!

A good book to help with finding His purpose for your life is "The Purpose Driven Life". Along with reading his word, talking with Him, and thinking about Him in all areas of our lifes. Also some things we have to wait for Him to reveal to us on a day to day basis.

I wnt to thank God today for a roof over my head and food to eat. For my family and christian friends. For the rain/snow to come. For His love and faithfulness. For His joy!

I want to thank him for provinding everything we need. My dh was down sized & will have to looking for work, but I am not worried because I KNOW my God will supply all my needs.

Thanks so much for your encouragement.I just get so impatient waiting on the Lord sometimes.I also feel like the worst christian ever sometimes since my prayer life is lacking and so are my bible reading habits.I just seem to lack motivation ya know.I am truly in love with God though and hungry and thirsty for more of him though. Well I just want to thank God for being so good to me, forgiving me and bringing me back to him everytime I try to push him away. Also for helping me through all the hard and stressful situations I've had so far in college, at home...etc. For giving me chrstian friends when I thought there was no way I could find a christian outside my church here, let alone someone my age. For giving me opportunities to share my faith with other people, and most of all for letting his son die on the cross so that all the sins from someone so unworthy as me could be washed away.

I thank and praise God that he has blessed our congregation with a wonderful Pastor! I am so grateful for his Godly leadership, his patience in shepherding us, and his evident love for God's son, Jesus. Thank you, Lord, for allowing us to be part of his flock, and bless his ministry to us.
