I would like to thank God for our short life span's, the less time i spend on this rock the better. Chunky monkey ice cream makes it somewhat tolerable though.

I would like to thank God for conviction. The conviction of the Holy Spirit when I sin, and the conviction I hold in my beliefs, due to the worthiness of the One who sits on the throne. Thanks be to God for His gift of salvation.

Several times in the last few days, I have had to drive the small stretch of freeway where I tried to commit suicide years ago. Each time I drove it, I could not help but remember and thank G-d that I did not succeed. That was long ago, in another life that now seems so foreign that it is hard to remember that was me. For that, I also thank G-d.

My husband.
I thank G-D for him. My sister is sick with cancer and has 5 kids. My hubby has jumped in to help with both feet, while holding down a fulltime job. No questions asked. I'm humbled by his kindness towards her and her children.

I am thankful for the baby shower I attended yesterday for our youth pastor's wife, for the gift of life to celebrate, and for the fact that the baby, when it is born, will be raised in a home that knows Jesus.
