My friend and co-worker Duane, a single dad, just found out that his 13 yr old son is on drugs. Please join me in prayer that God will heal his son and that this will bring the entire family into closer relationship with God.

Please pray for my FH who is going to the doctor today unless they close down because of the snow to see if he has a kidney stone or a hernia

please pray for memaw (kimmie) and her husband and his mother and father. The mother has been told her cancer is terminal. They are all finding it very hard, Kimmie is trying to be the strength for them. Please pray for comfort and strength for them all.

Could you please pray for this new pregnancy. I have such worries (all unfounded) and I just need to learn peace. But pray this baby grows healthy and well.

I'd like to ask prayers for today for a colonoscopy I'm having at 1:20pm. Geting thru the prep was hard enough  But I would love to be held in prayer and for good results too. Thank you all.

My dad went to the dr. not too long ago and found out that his PSA level is too high. He went for testing and is awaiting the results.

The last few days have been murder on world markets. John and I have some investments abroad which have plummeted in value. Today, the US markets are expected to lose a good deal of value. This morning, John told me he is nervous and scared. Please pray that God's glory is served through this time in John's life. God even has control over the markets and can do what he likes.
I would also like to request prayer for our other sisters who are experiencing market losses right now. The downturns are serious enough to potentially alter retirement plans, etc. Thank you for your prayers!

I am looking for a new job and have not been getting a lot of hits. I have an interview next week. I also found a job I want, but need to get my foot in the door.
Mostly I want God to open the door. So pray that I don't stress or get discouraged when things don't go my way.

My Co-worker, Shelly goes in for surgury tomorrow. I'm not sure the type, but she is always sickly. I also pray that God will not only heal her body but that she would open her heart to Him for a full relationship.

Now this prayer is for me.....My husband and I (I turn 40 in July) have been trying for 6 years to have children but 3 miscarriages, 3 surguries and a TON of tests later, we just found out last week that now both my tubes are blocked and we have to go the IVF route in April. Please remember us in your prayers!!

Well I prayed on and off all day about those financial markets, that God would work his will in our lives, that he would steady my husband's heart and mind and give him conviction about what to do.
Anyway, things have started looking up ... the DOW was down only about 1% and the Asian markets are rebounding. We were actually up for the day! I told John I prayed and he said "thank you". He's never thanked me for praying before.

MIL is getting better, the chest tube was taken out today and the doc said she may get to go home soon!
I am now home (yea!).

Great praise report on your MIL! May God's will continue to me done! I will continue to keep her, you and the family in my prayers.
Prayer Ladies, please pray for the great number of single woman out there who, because they are alone Satan is leading into wrong relationships with ungodly men. My BF/Cousin, Gina is going through it right now and I really need help in praying for her that this awful cycle is broken!!

Praise God!!
Update on MIL.
She is home now, resting comfortably!
Her oncologist visited her last night at hospital and gave a completely totally different report than her attending physician did.
He said this IS TREATABLE!!!
(Adenocarcinoma - lung and liver)
He will start chemotherapy as soon as she is recovered and has her strength back.
She is doing very well and I am just astonished and amazed at how God is working!!

God has told me the direction He wants me to take, but I'm having a hard time starting my journey. I have the map, but I don't know where my first step should go.
I also would like to pray for a friend of mine. God is working in his heart and I would like for him to listen and seek His wisdom.

Please remember my brohter. He is going to the hospital with a high heart rate and low blood pressure. This is the brother who is dealing with kidney failure. He went in for dialysis and his heart was "off" so they sent him to the hospital. If he doesn't come home tomorrow my parents will go out. These are the same symptoms that sent him to the hospital almost 5 years ago when he almost died. He has been relatively healthy for the last 4 years+.
Brief refresher of his history:
Kidney failure symptoms about 91-92
Kidney failure diagnosed about 93
Married in 97
Kidney transplant in 98 or 99
Kidney transplant failed and eventually rejected and removed around 2000
Hodgkins diagnosed around Mothers Day of 2001 (I think)
Goes into remission
Son born 7/2003 (adopted: they had custody from 3 days old)
Shortly after started having heart problems because oncologist gave medicines he shouldn't have with kidney failure.
Came home Thanksgiving week 2003 and been basically healthy since.
Have since had 2 biological daughters even though they had been told he couldn't father a child and his wife couldn't carry to term.

Well, my brother came home from the hospital at about 3 AM. I called my parents at 8:35 and my dad was just waking up: not like them at all. Dad hadn't slept well. Anyway, they did his dialysis at the hospital and his heart settled down. He will always have to watch his heart because of the radiation he had.
