My New Year's Resolution for 1994 was to read the Bible from cover to cover and determine if there was a God and if the Bible was His Word. I prayed that if He was real He would open my mind and my eyes. I don't know the date that I was saved, but I was baptized on February 27, 1994- after reading the Bible from cover to cover.
I found out later that many of my Christian friends were praying for me too.

Sometime in December of 1956. I just turned nine years old, so I don't remember the exact date. Best Birthday and Christmas present I ever received!!

I don't remember the exact date. Sometime last August. All I remember was sitting there in front of the computer watching a Slayer video for the song "Bloodline", and smoking pot. All of a sudden I had to seek God. It was like night and day in the blink of an eye.

10-7-73. Yeah, I'm old as dirt.
I had a roommate (I'm REALLY old) who was a Christian, and when stuff about Israel would come on the news, she'd whip open a Bible and say, "See - it says right here that would happen! It was prophesied thousands of years ago!"
That blew my mind, because that told me the Bible was true, and thus I was in deep yogurt.
For two years I ducked this and felt pursued by God. Finally, one morning while taking a shower, I prayed my first prayer: "God, I can't run away from You anymore. From now on, You're the Boss, and I'm yours."
I was born again and didn't even know what that meant. My roomie flipped out in uber joy and explained it. My sin was forgiven and I was a child of God.
I started going to her church and got some great Bible teaching, and in 6 months my life was radically different.
Praise the Lord for saving a trainwreck like me, and for slowly building me into the woman He means me to be. He is merciful and loving and I will praise Him forever!!!

A week before Easter 2004. I was so sad one day, I could not take it, I started praying and I asked God to help me, said I had been going away too long. Was on the right path for about a year and then I started to drift away. In October of 2007 I being much more mature got serious and I have remained thus so far.

Late October, 1962. Shortly before my 9th birthday. I still remember the "clean" I felt on that day. Actually, when I think about it, I still feel the "clean."

August 14, 1989 in a farmhouse outside of Lacombe, Alberta, Canada is where I first met Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour. And my life has never been the same again! Shortly after coming to faith in Jesus, I felt the call of God to the ministry, and have been involved in full time pastoral ministry for the past 15 1/2 years. It's been an exciting adventure of faith - God is good!

Wow deermousie, thats exactly as i would describe mine, pursued. August 1981, 20yrs old, standing outside a liquor store in San Diego, asked a passerby to buy some beer for me, he said "i'd rather pray for you instead, can i?", im like, yeah whatever. So he grabs my hand and raises it up and started callin' Jesus down on me. I wasent looking for a saviour, i was quite happy with my drinkin' and drugin' thank you very much, but from that point in time onward for several years i couldent get the feeling out my heart that God wanted something from me and i became increasingly unhappy with everything about my life. So one day i just quit running, i got tired of fighting Him. Thank you Lord for coming after me

C.S. Lewis talked about being pursued by the Hound of Heaven (as opposed to the Hound of Hell). But no hounds, just a God who wouldn't let us go. How wonderful!

April 1984....God answered my husbands prayer. He was not a Christian, but he prayed to God in desperation while I lay in intensive care... after suffering a miscarriage that nearly took my life. ..........He prayed that if God would let me live, he would promise to take our family to church............. God honored his prayer. I survived...But I did not want to go to church, or believe in God........ He pursuaded me to go, putting his foot down (after a few weeks of my excuses)........ By the way, he never spoke of his prayer to me...I found this out as I listened to him giving his testimony to someone (2 1/2 yrs. ago!) Well, God answered his prayer all right! I got the best life, eteranl life!!

Ican't remember the exact date because I had given my life to God several years ago, and for some reason I backed away from God later on. About 3 years ago Ithought I had rededicated my life to God but something was still missing. Then at the beginning of December 2007 God really showed me that I wasn't living as I should. Needless to say I straightened my life out and I am letting God be in control now.
Thank you God for forgiving me.
