Hi, all, since Ps103 said to start it, and I have second choice on it, I'll just go ahead and start it.

Chatter away!

EDIT: I thought it would be fun to add #2 so we can keep track of how many times we run this thing up to 100 posts!

I'm hoping this is for the young at heart too. Church was amazing today. I went into church in a BAD mood, and God took care of my bad mood the way He always does. He gently reminded me that He's still there, He still loves me, and because of the first two, life is still good.

The Holy Spirit is very able to step on our toes in just the right way at just the right time. So how was your service today?

My services were great! My church meets in the afternoon, so I also go to a Bible study that meets every other morning. This was the "on" week, so I was from one service to the other most of the week. It was really, really refreshing.

Ours were good. I missed the sermon this morning, because I help out in Children's Church on Sunday Mornings. But tonight's was very good. Dad preached about how we should be careful so as not to fall, and how we should never think we are above falling. It was really good.

I started writing a lesson on the Lord's prayer before I was ordained. I ended up with 13 lessons and I wasn't done yet.

Hey "young folks"! Congrats on a new thread!

Now since I consider myself a young folk, I feel more welcome in this thread!

I got some news:

Yesterday evening, my wife (Lydia) was having contractions all through evening service. They were a minute apart. So we decided to make a run to the hospital as services ended.

We got there, and they plugged her up to the machines. After about 45 minutes with more contractions, but because nothing was happening, we were sent home. She was given a Ambien to help her sleep through the night in case the contractions kept going. It drugged her good. She was a little (or more ) loopy.

The night went well, but she's still having contractions here and there. I guess we'll see what today (or tomorrow) holds!

I'm glad you feel welcome! I think the name tweak really helped us out!

Do you know whether it's a boy or a girl yet?

yep... it'll be a boy!

And on the name tweak, those that were teens when the 1st one started aren't teens anymore, so something had to be done

Maybe you guys will have to go in today. I know that it's hard to wait for the little ones to arrive. Congratulations on the baby boy. I still would like to have a boy, but have given up on that. We are talking adopting one sometime in the future, though........that way a boy would be guaranteed.

Yes--whether or not I still was when Tina started the thread, I was a teen when I first joined this board (which was as soon as it started). Now I'm 21...time is sure flying.
