ORIGINAL: Kerrlaw1 Sorry about the Hogs loss. I was counting on them knocking out North Carolina (not that TN is guaranteed of getting that far. We will find out tomorrow night. Kerrlaw1...I cheered for TN last night after my concert. Was able to see the entire second half. Did not look like the team that we beat or that beat us. Sorry bro. Was really pulling for the SEC's last hope in the NCAA.

Tornadic storms crossing the state again tonite. I am up watching the local TV coverage...at 3:35am...praying for others. The church down the street from us is reporting in excess of a million dollars in damages. Don't know how much damage our church had, yet. Met with our adjuster Monday...engineer Tuesday...potential contractor Wednesday...been busy! Thanks for your prayers. PJ / The Prophets

Seems like we've had a lot of damaging tornadoes this year - even more than usual in Georgia.

Thank you Dinana! You are a blessing. Sorry to hear that things have been tough in GA...you guys had the bad drought back in the summer/fall season. AR was hit again on Thursday by storms and at least one twister. Back in February, we had one long-track tornado that stayed on the ground for 114 miles before it lifted. It was a monster F4 storm. Fortunately, the one that hit our church was only an F1. A puppy they tell me. Thanks again for your prayers. PJ / The Prophets PS: I like your myspace site.

In spite of the tornado, that struck our church, and my wife's recent surgery...and our dog's emergency trip to the vet...our oldest son, Matt, is getting married TOMORROW! Both of his grandfathers and I, will perform the ceremony at an undisclosed wilderness chapel in the Ozarks Mountains. It will be a very private and beautiful service. Please pray that my wife, Kathy, is able to get through it, only 5 days after her surgery. He is marring a wonderful and delightful woman, Shannon. She is a down to earth scholar and scientist from small-town AR. They seem to be a perfect fit. God bless 'em!

Thanks for the prayer support GVfan! Kathy and I returned home late tonite. We are tired, but happy! The setting was one of spectacular natural beauty. The service was perfection. Both of our sons sang. Our youngest sang I song he wrote to honor his brother and the bride. Wow! He let me play for him. Not a dry eye in the chapel. Then Matt sang to his bride...and we all cried again. When I get the strength, I am going to blog all about it. Somehow, KJ got through it...as did my Mom...and my Dad (who only weeks ago lay dying in a local hospital). Amazing! To God Be The Glory! (by the way, that was the hymn they played today as the happy couple left the chapel...and we sang the chorus, "Praise the Lord...Praise the Lord...")...well anyway, we (wife, Mom, Dad & Aunt) drove the 175 miles home this evening. We rejoiced every inch of the way. Yes. We are tired, but HAPPY!

Tornadoes struck our fair state (AR) again today. One of our churches, is totally destroyed. Seven of our citizens lost their lives. With the memory of the April tornado that bashed our church still fresh in our minds, we have now had to face this happening again...and this time with the loss of lives. Please pray for the people of our state. Sunday will be difficult for many.

All of you Razorback Gospel fans: please join me in praying for Steven Curtis Chapman, during this time of extreme grief for him and his family. The recent loss of his young daughter has moved all of us in the Gospel music world. There is nothing harder for us to endure than the death of one of our children. Steven's music has blessed us all in one way or another. I know that my favorite SG group recorded at least one of his songs. Please pray for him and his family.

I am blessed by that. I hope his wife, Shirley, will get to be there. He is already in their Hall of Fame as a Melody Boys Qt member. Glad that THE PROPHETS will be there to see him recognized.
