Yes, they are wonderful! It's a greatly talented bunch of guys. This is the new version of the group that was very popular back in the 60's and 70's with the most famous member being Russ Taff. They sing a mixture of southern gospel and contemporary songs. Here's a link to their website where you can hear some of their songs. I will be privileged to see my favorite Quartet twice this weekend (The Melody Boys Quartet)! Friday, September 12 they are in Nacogdoches, TX, and Saturday, September 13 in Garland, TX! I am going to both concerts! They will have their brand new CD with them, and I am so excited about it!

If I can get my work schedule changed I plan to see the Isaacs on November 16 and Ivan Parker on November 22.

I'm planning to see Garry Jones, Brian Free (and Assurance) and Ivan Parker at a "Golden Moments" concert on Friday, Voices Won and Triumphant on Saturday, and Garry Jones at Josh Feemster's church on Sunday!!!

We will be in concert this Saturday night (9/20) at 6:00 with the Diplomats, Hope's Journey and Cross Ties at Freedom Baptist Church, Ranburne, AL. This is a benefit for Rejoice 89.1 radio station. For a map or more details:

Last year, I came home sick from NQC. This year was her turn, I guess! She's got some good drugs so maybe they'll be working really well soon.

They are coming from Flordia, Tennessee, North Carolina and Georgia Saturday night to see TRIUMPHANT QUARTET in Acworth, GA. Gonna be a great night with the 2008 SN Musician of the Year Jeff Stice. This will be the first weekend out after receiving the award.

Gonna be a busy Saturday. From noon till 5 I'll be participating in a benefit concert at Noble Church of God to help them to raise money for a new sound system. (their old one got fried by a nearby lightning strike). I'm singing about 2:30.
At 7 PM The Bond Servants Quartet ( based in Chattanooga) will be in concert at my home church, McFarland United Methodist, in Rossville, GA
And after the concert I've gotta rush home to watch the UGA-ASU Football game. Go Dawgs!
