One of the reasons I didn't go back to school till mine were grown.

Dang, it's in the 40s out there this morning! It's supposed to be spring, right?

Hi Darcy. Mike may dislike Boston, but it's exciting to me! I hope our chairs will be repaired soon so we can go gallivanting.

That said, there were things I liked about the South when I lived in Memphis. If I could have lived there without being in a nursing home, I might have stayed. I miss the smell of magnolia trees on a summer evening. And I miss people using good manners! Wish John and I could move south. It's hard making friends up here.

Yeah, I can understand how hard that must be. I'm glad you have each other.

Was at a prayer group meeting last night. There's a small bunch of us who have decided to study and train to do more in prayer at our church, and after last night I'm looking forward to see how it's going to go. And they're people I already know and trust, which is even better.

Today: three clients and the gym. Of course, I'm sure it's going to be even more than that, but I'm only half-awake right now, and I can't think......

Hiya, James!

What's up, hermano? Looks like it's finally getting warmer in the mornings......yay! (especially since the heater in my truck went out a couple of weeks ago......)

I'm about to take off for school. Then after school, I'm going to the funeral home in Taylorsville. Today's gonna be FUN!

Hope your day is going well, Darcy. Missions Committee meets at our house tonight. I'm not sure what we'll talk about. Usually in May, we're planning the annual short term missions trip to Eastern Europe, but that's not happening this year. The guy who usually leads that expedition just moved to Florida. We'll see what happens tonight.

I really want to do a missions trip of my own, eventually. I've seen so many others do it, and yet I've never had the time or the funds to do it myself. Even Pastor J is going on one, in September, to Cuba. Dang.

One day, I suppose. Maybe.

Hiya, James!

Today's schedule is not as bad as it could be. Three clients, but fairly short ones. Then I can run an errand before I go see Tamsey this afternoon. And the week is about to be half over!

Hey Darcy. Hi everybody. Just quickly popping in. I should be in bed, but I'm getting withdrawals from not being around you all. Our friends are here from Wales for another 24 hours or so.

Hi Darcy!!

I see you stopped by my thread, which tends to go dormant.

I'm doing really well. Tomorrow is the munchkin's last day of school. How did that happen? These last several months have gone so fast. This week is going really fast too!

I need to call the trumpet academy and arrange for private lessons ... did you see that the munchkin made the district jazz band? I am so proud of him!! My little musician

Hiya, Ray! (((Raymundo, amigo!)))

Hey, Sam! Congrats on your son and the band.......muy bueno!

Trishalicious! I'm so glad you came by, I miss all the hugs!

Deb, I'm not sure, but I think the Carribean would be fun. Or maybe Central America, since I'm working on learning español. Either way, I want to try it.

Okay, I've got news. I've been accepted for admission to NC State University, and I think I'm going to go. Looks like my junior year will start in August!

Thanks, Kristin and Mikey!

I've got a lot of decisions to make in the next two weeks. I have to send them $200 in the meantime, while I try to decide whether to live on campus or not. I tried to register for housing online last night, but the server wouldn't let me choose housing for senior students (which the pamphlet says I can, as a transfer student). So, I have to start making phone calls, and I shot them an e-mail. Let's see how this go. If I don't get the housing I want, I'm not going to move, I'll commute.
