What would life be if you weren't busy?

But I'm glad you have such a full life. And that it has so much variety! Mine was that way when I had more stamina, and sometimes I miss it! I "complained," of course, but deep down I was happiest during my busiest times. (Of course, not as happy as I've been since I married John.) I believe you're the happiest when you're doing stuff for your church, Darcy. The joy absolutely floods your posts!

Stamina? I tried to have some of that this afternoon as I baked and cooked for the guests that arrived in Perth from Wales late Sunday night. (It's early Monday morning here). Will see them later this morning.

Right here, hon. Busy, busy weekend. I've got an invasion of ants in my kitchen, bathroom and office, and it's making me NUTS! Going to have to buy some ant killer and lay it down tomorrow. Ick!

Church today was excellent, music went well, and we had a party after second service for two of our ladies who just got advanced degrees: Vicki just got her M.Div., and Tamsie got her PhD. Cool!

I got some serious compliments on the music today......gotta be careful, if I start getting a swelled head, I've got bandmates who will give me some serious flack!

Especially Pastor J and David.....HA! That reminds me, I need to find some bass player jokes, I need AMMO!

Nice Darcy, it could be worse! They are having an ant invasion in Houston right now!

Personally, I think fire ants are bad enough, I hope THOSE nasty things don't migrate this far north!

Just one of those things that you do not have to worry about in New England. I wonder if I could even survive living South at all.

(shrugs.....)

Dunno, Mikey. You'd have to try it to find out, there are some things you can't find out from other people. I would never have seen myself living here, but I've been here 21 years now.

One of these days God will allow me to move, however truth be told, my oppinion of Boston has actually changed a bit during the past few years, but especially during the past 3 and half.

I do seem to recall you coming very close to hating your hometown, not all that far in the past.

You heard me! He seems to think I've gotten big-headed in the band lately, and it's getting crazy!

Of course, there's jokes about singers......

How many lead singers does it take to change a lightbulb?

One. She holds onto it, and the world revolves around her!

Or, NONE. She gives off enough light that you don't need a lightbulb!

You could always ask why bass guitars have fewer strings than regular guitars and insinuate it has to do with troubles in counting...

Don't feel bad Darcy. I'm not half awake this morning. Coffee's brewing, so I'll get there...

Ah, yes, I need to make my tea. Maybe that will help.

Monday. I'm going to try to enjoy it. I have a couple of clients, and I need to deliver some flowers that people won at the raffle at Relay for Life on Friday night. Then, I have a meeting tonight over at my friend's house, we're starting a prayer group at church.

Geez. School may be out for me, but I'm just as busy as ever.

And I'm just getting started with full time school. Thank goodness I'm starting school in the summer. I have one class Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. And I have one class Tuesday and Thursday.
But that's OK 'cause my first class Friday gave us quite a bit of homework...

Ah, yes. Welcome to my world, James.

You'll do fine. Just try to keep your work levels even, so you don't find yourself getting behind.

Loverly and I agreed before I started that during the summer session of courses, I would go to the library after class to get a head start on homework. It worked Friday.

Very good idea. Kids are a wonderful thing, but they are not conducive to getting homework done.

You got that right. I love'em, but they don't make studying easy at all.
